I am positive Candy Ride ran more than one race in the US. I'm also sure that he won a Graded Stake before the Pacific Classic. I'm too lazy to look it up....

My mistake. He did run 3 times and won all three. The PC was his last.

No fair, that was gonna be mine. ;) I actually remember the exact spot where I was standing in my yard when a family member stuck their head out of the door and said AP Indy wouldn't be running in the Derby.

Just some others to add, watching the breakdown/pull ups of Charismatic and Barbaro followed by the additional tragedies of laminitis and Antley's drug abuse. Also, the campaigns of our two high profile ladies last year. You all know who I mean. I really found it hard to decide which frustrated me more so I'll just say both. Then the 1998 Belmont. A nose, for crying out loud.

Honest Pleasure's Triple Crown Series

--I wasn't alive for it but I know that this was a major disappointment for many race fans. He was supposed to be the next triple crown winner in many eyes...

Can you ever ever ever see the name of that horse and not think of King?

I'll be on my deathbed and someone will say Galloping Grocer and...

Oh wait that won't happen so never mind. :D

Of course not -- they are like peanut butter and jelly.

You can't have one without the other!
