I have to take a shot against Strong Mandate since the pace appears it will be fast on paper. Think Ride On Curlin should get a perfect trip here and is value at the current 7-1.

He didn't ride bad enough to finish out of the Super though:wf

Usually when you go 8 wide on the first turn at Oaklawn, make a big middle move, go wide around the second turn, you can be assured that the horse will finish up the track.

That was a big effort by Ride On Curlin considering the anchor on his back.

The ride on Strong Mandate was just as bad really though after his beginning, he was going to be against it. I was impressed by that second place finish more than any of his other races

Watching it back, Strong Mandate's ride and trip was just as bad, if not worse, than Ride On Curlin's. That was an impressive run by him too there.

Like I said, I gained more respect for SM than any of his wins....his number will come back better than the winner I bet and he was beaten by a lot

the last at SA looks very interesting....
