the right to have an abortion? not applicable to myself personally. Plus i guarantee 100% that abortion laws will not change in this country if Romney is elected.

the right to get married? first off, nothing to retain there as DOMA is still in effect. Plus, I live in florida.. not happening whether romney or obama is elected.

DADT? Repubs might talk about it.. but that law wont be changing.

Just like Obamacare wont be rescinded even if Romney wins.

Bunch of rhetoric people get caught up in.

Look at this shiny thing, pay no attention to the crumbling world around you.
The belief that social issues are relevant and that who is President will make much of a difference is ridiculous. Obama changed his tune this time because he needs the votes, believing that he will be willing capable of doing anything is the fantasy on the left. They all thought there was some power in the position and he could actually do any of what was promised. Ask one person that has paid attention and they will say he has not.

No. Think really hard, and put those words with the other words in the sentence, and puzzle out the meaning.

Hint: those two particular candidates running for office.

Seriously - kneejerk blaming me for your inability to understand is pretty lame.

I rest my case.

This is why America has the most expensive health care system in the world. Is not even in the top 20 in reading or math. Has religion holding a huge influence in our law creation.

Antitrust32 10-24-2012 01:10 PM

They are very relevant to the country.

they are not relevant to the Presidential election.

Gay marriage will come down to the supreme court.. just like abortion already did many decades ago.

Coach Pants 10-24-2012 01:13 PM

He had 4 years to push gay rights. He gave us health care designed by the private insurance companies.

He's a liar. A habitual liar and narcissist.

The polls are meaningless. The electoral predictions are meaningless. Going by what some "expert" says who has a perfect record in Presidential elections is statistically meaningless.

Just watch out for your cornhole Nov. 6th.

Abortion is under seige right now, the ability to have one has already been made more difficult in several states.

What about that - you being forced by the government of the United States to bear the child of your rapist. You good with that one wending it's way through the supreme court? Because both candidates and parties are the same in your mind?

The president appoints those Supreme Court judges you are depending upon for keeping tabs on the legislative branch removing your rights via law.

No, all politicians are not the same, and yes, your vote matters. The United States is like 30th in the free world, in the number of citizens who even bother to vote. We have reaped exactly what we've chosen.

so what you are saying is if Romney gets elected... there will be no more Roe v Wade???

please.. use some more scare tactics.

I again, absolutely guarantee that raped women will be allowed to have abortions whether Romney or Obama is president.

You act like Todd Akin is being elected as dictator of America.

amen brother.

Obama and Bush have given us a shitty 12 years of service. Romney is no better than Obama or Bush. We will continue to reap exactly what we've chosen.

I just want to reap it and still have Coach Pants around.

She's all over the place. One thread Romney is not a conservative but a liberal, next thread he's the second coming of Hitler.

That's right. The 184 anti-abortion bills the current Republican House of Representatives have passed are no threat to you. Just waste of our money.

When President Romney has a Republican Senate next year that passes a bill from the House outlawing abortion, and Republican President Romney signs it into law, and the ACLU brings it to the Supreme Court, and the two very conservative religious judges appointed by President Romney in 2013 uphold that ban on abortion in 2015 ... remember you never doubted you'd lose that right, and didn't think the candidates mattered.

Coach Pants 10-24-2012 01:29 PM

Obama has a kill list right now.

Woogity boogity.

OooOOoOOoOOOoo. But, but Bush did it? Herpa derpa be scared, folks!!

There's a difference between the two parties. 4 years of inaction on gay rights and abortion, etc. etc. is just an oversight. Obama was worried about his handicap. Off to the range!

But don't you worry, folks. Oceans will recede in the second term. Promise.

dellinger63 10-24-2012 01:32 PM

I will offer to pay for any abortion Riot may need in the future. In fact I insist on it! Also would like to point out the world coming to an end is/has a far greater percentage of occuring than Riot being raped.

Just think if her mother had been born post Roe v. Wade. Or for that matter knew what a DNC was?

Sorry, no - I do not compare anybody to Hitler, unless they are into genocide.

Would financial genocide of the middle class count?

I meant irrelevant to the election. Of course people care about them, that is why they get brought up as opposed to anything that might possibly fall under the power of the office.

A long slow road already being traveled.

Interesting thought. That has been going on since the 1970's.

But the massive income disparity in the US, and how it's happened, certainly helps point out that yes, your vote matters.

while I certainly hope the world would end before Riot would have to deal with something as terrible as that...

I find this post highly disturbing, Dell.
