The failed policies of the Democrats in fighting crime are self-perpetuating. People who don't want to live in a slum, and have the financial ability to move, do so. Who's left? Those who can't move, and if welfare recipients constitute a large enough voting block, they keep the Democrats in power - which gets you more of the same.

The Democrats are not directly responsible. They are indirectly responsible, and are, apparently, a reliable predictor of where the problems with flash mobs are.

When we start getting a lot of flash mobs in Texas, like someone pointed out earlier, or other red cities and states, we'll have to revise the theory.

Should be noted that several parents, in Milwaukee, of kids involved in the gas station flash mob robbery have stepped foward and turned their kids in after the video was shown on the news. :tro:
