If more muslims were reported to look like this ....

I'd have signed up for the war and taken my chances with a whole lot of things.

Used to go to school in Manhattan with quite a few. They look like that. Lots of them.

I knew I was being lied to!

All of these guys I knew growing up - that I thought had half a brain - and ended up getting themselves stuck over there ... they had to be onto something.

You saw those crazed fools tearing down the Saddam statue ... I bet any aggressive marine could have been laying the wood to oppressed muslim hotties who grew up in families secretly hating Suddam.

Not to mention - you know they have to be forcing their way into some hot terrorist love tunnels after doing these raids if they've got deniability on their side.

A few guys I know have told some similar stories. Not with such literary flair but stories nonetheless. :D

It was an old school military tactic. I liked to read about Julius Caesar when I was a boy. I loved the way 'Art of War' was written. Huge fan of Hannibal and Atilla the Hun. Loved the story of the 300 Spartans at Thermopylae before Hollywood gay'd it up with that horrid movie. Romance of the Three Kingdoms was my favorite video game series.

I can imagine no place in history that would have been more fun to be than in winning gear right after one of those ancient wars - all set to rape and pillage. I can imagine no place more miserable in history than to be fighting on either side before or during the war.

Something tells me that if I was around in those days, I'd figure out a super sneaky way to jump in with the winning side right as they cross the wire.

Yeah.

Guadacanal and Okinawa seemed pretty miserable to me though.

110 to 115 degrees, 100% humidity and thousands upon thousands of rotting bodies. No supplies to keep you fed and hydrated too.

You just never know where threads here will end up...

It's one of life's great mysteries.

I always expect a possible homo-erotic Spartacus homage from DougS, but not the 'hot terrorist love tunnel'. That was an upset for me...

I would like to say there are plenty of hotties right here on this board.

You don't see me going to the Middle East looking for Mortimer's Girls.

Those sub-forums exist for profiling purposes, like the Pet Shop Boys and Seal.

Well I guess we know the answer to that. Did she get hurt during that workout?
