How many times do I have to tell you, when Zenyatta is on TV, use a sock and stand back from the television.

I hate cleaning up your messes.

Another long, quick drill on that superior, stamina-building HP cushion yesterday for the big mare

Seems to be really feeling her oats lately

Also noticed that they took B back to Keeneland to prep for the JCGC on that superior synthetic surface

Smart move by Stall ... very smart

Thought I read that he was gunna ship him down to Bel to train for the race

At any rate, he clearly looks like the horse to beat in the BCC, at this point, in my estimation…

I was wondering when you or CSC1985 (mostly you) was going to chime in with some idiotic remark about Zenyatta's latest workout.

Where have you two been anyways? Did you two enjoy your Labor Day holiday together?

Weakening of faith? zenyatta is still undefeated, you know. Surely, as the greatest distaffer in North America in the last 30 years, she has nothing to fear from the Super Derby runner-up.

Agreed. I'm no Zenyatta nuthugger, but until she loses, how can anyone say another horse is the one to beat?

because blame is a better horse based on recent form? he's faced and defeated much better than she has this year.

Is he undefeated with a previous BCC win to his credit?

lol
so because she won that race a year ago, she's the one to beat this year? we're to ignore everything that's happened since, because of that? i disagree.

Since? Hmm... Tell me what Z has done wrong since? She showed up to face Rachel. Where was Rachel? She has won every race since, thats all...

Smooth Operator 09-11-2010 10:44 PM

Are you two joking?

B is a 4yo male … Z a 6yo female.

B already owns a couple big scores at CD … Z hasn't raced there yet.

B showed a lot of grit while taking down top-ranked QR in the biggest open contest so far this year.

He's clearly the early fav for the BCC at this point...

so...that negates what blame has done? she's not the only horse pointing to that race, is she? and what has rachel got to do with it? nothing. blame has won all year, vs horses such as quality road. who has zenyatta faced this year that is comparable to those two?

It's called playing both sides of the fence.

Yawn.

It was mildly shocking to read something written by him that I completely agreed with and was pretty well thought out.

Of course it's a "clever" dodge for when she loses.

Does Blame dance before his races? Does he have songs written about him? Most importantly, is he sensitive about the feelings of others?

zenyatta could win by open lengths every race, but she doesn't want to hurt the other horses' feelings, so she lets them lead for most of the race and politely passes them at the very end. Such a caring horse is not going to let her army of fans down by losing the biggest race of all. She has all those old ladies, the people who showed up at Hot Springs International, the guy who chanted "Zenyatta" for 18 hours straight at Del Mar, and others who live vicariously through her to think about.

When zenyatta wins HOY this year, the Mosses need to invite the one person who is symbolic of all their fans to the awards ceremony. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-A1ps_m7Jk
