I don't get it. The song "Empire State of Mind is certainly alot better than "the :rolleyes:Sidewalks of NY".
How can anyone detest ESM with Alicia Keyes singing? Maybe not JZ. But I've seen and heard Keyes performing that song and it is a great replacement for those tired old songs..like Sinatra. |

I understand that negotiations are underway right now for Roseanne Barr to sing next year's song. The song will be selected by poll of left-handed horseplayers. :zz: "Enter Sandman" by Metallica is leading headed into clubhouse turn.

It only occurred to me to ask because some horse folks on Twitter were talking about it. I think "Empire State of Mind" was Gov. Patterson's doing. I guess they'll decide on it later. Springsteen did a mean version of Erie Canal at a concert in London. Got them singing along at the chorus which is strange because you don't expect them to know it. |
