AL Cy Young....Fausto Carmona. I made the pick last year and I'm sticking with it this year! He did have a phenomenal spring training this year. I was just a year early with it. He'll be better than 2007.

Well, there's no doubt the Dodgers haven't been willing to take the steps necessary to go to the final level. Valverde was available for 14 mil/ 2 years. You'd think a team that's had post-season reliever problems would've wanted that. Brox had some health issues last year. You can blame some of his regular season blown saves on that, but you can't blame his pathetic post -season chokes on that. Now, I want everyone to know why. Look at this pitch he threw 8 days before:

http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/ne...t=.jsp&c_id=la

See how that's moving late? It's straight lookin' to the batter, and then moves on the batter very late. Rollins would not of hit that. Nobody would of hit that within the field of play. There is no reason this pathetic cow couldn't of done this against Philly. She's a choke.

Now, look at this pathetic pitch:

http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/ne...t=.jsp&c_id=la

It's straight. Starts hi inside, and takes a straight path to the heart of the plate. Look where Russ's glove is. Pitch is supposed to start in the center of the plate, n' duck outside late. She has a severe mental weakness. This is the reason she fails in front of the free world.

i agree, no red sox in the post season this year

Hopefully the repeating low Red Sox prediction is a function of the software being installed. Although I agree that Reddick for Baye would only be desirable if we were shooting three's....

dadoonan 04-01-2010 01:10 PM

not this year

This is the swan song year for the Rays - they can't keep a great deal of their talent and I believe if they can get Howell back healthy early enough they've got all of the tools to displace the Red Sox as the Wild Card in the AL :homer:

Dont fall for his lunacy. Broxton is the least of the Dodgers problems.

Go back to last fall. After Brox got the final out against the Cards, someone said they didn't see the woman I had written about. I said to just wait. She will show. I'm so lune? Next week after, she did show up (in all her glory.) That's because I know this cow very well. Like a diabetic knows their disease isn't going away. This woman's head problems aren't going away.

After 13 games, it looks like 75 wins is a pipe dream. The Mets are actually worse than i thought. Nearly unwatchable at times.

SCUDSBROTHER 05-07-2010 12:26 AM

Some nobody pitched the best 6 2/3 innings of their life, and Broxton had to fk it up.

SCUDSBROTHER 05-07-2010 12:57 AM

Just like that cow to blow a save, and then get someone else's win. Only starts to compete after it gets tied. Has the concentration of a worm.

dalakhani 09-22-2010 03:58 AM

Cannon, those reds ended up being pretty good.
