Give me a break. I think Eli is great and the Giants staff but what a joke of an excuse, overcome by ticket requests? Gotta do better then that.

Very drafty in the Dome

His numbers through his first six starts are pretty much identical to Eli Manning's. Actually slightly better.

Manning: 0-6, 77-170 (45.2%), 899 yards, 3 TD, 8 INT
Sanchez: 3-3, 85-163 (52.1%), 1,035 yards, 5 TD, 10 INT

Even Peyton threw 28 INTs in his rookie year. Sanchez has the goods, but he's 22 and requires patience. I've given up the brief hopes that we were a Super Bowl caliber team this year, but I still think the future is bright w/the Dirty.

Wow, congrats on your big day yesterday. After that the Birds went out and spit the bit in Oakland. Then I saw last nights sports double.

I really dont care, MY PATRIOTS ARE BACK IN A GIANT WAY...

Jets weren't supposed to be competitive yesterday, they were supposed to romp over a team in turmoil (playing with their backup in the 2nd half) especially after coming off 2 losses.

I guess a 59-0 Pats win brings the fans back out of the woodwork.

Jenkins out for the year will definitley hurt.
As far as Sanchez goes, I do believe he will be fine down the road. But I really think that Ryan dropped the ball yesterday. I know you don't want to hurt the kids confidence, but you also have to do what's best for the team. And he should have pulled Sanchez at some point yesterday. He even had a built in excuse with the weather. Could have spinned it on Sanchez's first game in any kind of elements. Could have even used Eli's performance in the playoffs as proof thet even expierenced QB's sometimes have trouble in that kind of wind. Most people would have probably given him a pass if Clemens came in and the Jets won. But instead he left Sanchez in, he threw a couple more picks and then they went on to lose the game. So Sanchez takes a bigger confidence hit and they lose a divisional game at home against a bad team. I think Ryan did a poor job with the situation.

Being a Bills fan I am thankful of the Jets Coaching Staff. It has been painfully obvious for quite awhile that the Bills can not stop the run. How the hell do you let the kid throw 5 INT's ? The Jets simply needed to run every down and they would have won by 20...

docicu3 10-19-2009 12:05 PM

Where is Douglas, there is much meat left on this bone.....

All Brady needed was his magic Grogan shirt and tuck rule weather....

It's okay to credit the Raider's for winning, the Eagles do not suck....

Buffalo proved once again that they get more pleasure from beating the Jets than any other team. Marv Levy sprung for ice cream after the game yesterday...

I completely agree. He had to come out of that game. It's not just like he made a couple of bad throws, he was totally, unforgivably awful. He did everything wrong that a QB could possibly do wrong. Pull him, get the win, tell him to forget about it and put him back in against the Raiders. Instead you keep him in to throw another several INTs, let him get booed every time off the field and start wondering whether he's cut out for this. It was a terrible job by Rex, who's beginning to show more chinks in his armor every week.

Because Schottenheimer is a moron and he doesn't know more than 2-3 running plays. If you learn how to stop those (they're usually run consecutively), we're screwed. Run behind Brandon Moore with TJ, fake the reverse to Clowney and run behind Faneca with Leon. That's about it. The guy's never run a pitch in his life. So if those two plays don't work on 1st and 2nd down, you have no choice but to put the ball in the air.

I dont think he should have pulled him. 1. because it is NY and if you are going to commit to a rookie there you better be committed. The last thing you need is a QB controversy. 2. Clemmens stinks 3. Because as one of the previous posters said, they could have kept the ball on the ground and maybe mixed in some screens and still moved on the Bills.

Sorry but the Eagles do suck. Total embarrassment by their offense.

Miami will end their season in a few weeks. Then Jets fans will be stuck in WGAS hell like me.

You'll really be pissed if they lose to the Raiders

does anyone want to hazard a guess on what the score will be in London next week? 80-0 Pats??

I agree with everything here. #2 most strongly.

Passing too much in the 4th quarter was a huge mistake, especially when they had 3rd and 3 and were going for it on 4th down anyways. But what did the Jets in were the penalties in OT. All three of their OT drives were killed by penalties that prevented them from being able to just run the ball down the Bills throat.

This is one of the single most bush league plays I have ever seen in sports. I hope he didn't plan on cashing a check for a few weeks. He will be heavily fined and suspended hopefully at least 2 games. I don't know anything about the player but I hope they cut him.

I put it up because I thought it flew under the radar with how shitty the match-up was.

Left his feet and went for the head of a completely defenseless return man. Caught him in the throat with his forearm. Clifton Smith couldn't even speak.

After watching that, and thinking about it, there are only 2 possibilities for what Wesley was trying to do: #1: he had a personal feud with Smith, and wanted to knock him out, damn the consequences, or #2:he somehow believed, as happens frequently on punts near the goal line, Smith was going to try and block him (which you do see often, the punt returner comes up and blocks the coverage guy to keep him from downing the ball before it gets to the end zone), and he decided to hit before getting hit. Either way, it was a BRUTAL play, but I think #2 is far more likely.

Too much bangers and mash will also slow them down a bit.

Who would've thought that the Raiders first and possible lone win of the season, would come via this year's Super Bowl Champions. :D

I know people are sick and tired of reading this, but Andy will right the ship and have this team in contention to go far in the playoffs. Whether or not he gets over the hump this year remains to be seen (probably not), but he will have them hitting stride like crazy come December. This teams units start up front, and once they start getting some punch in the lines, other peices will fall in place. (except for Trotter, I can outrun his a$$) Bring on the barbs, its the norm for people who know how dear I hold this team.

NOte:: Please do not quote the Booth Operator or Dyldo when they chime in on this one. Out of sight, out of mind and I plan on keeping it like that.
