Don't mean to past post, but I just got home from the track in time to catch that Belmont race and had Jazzy in the Pick 4.

Am alive to the 9 & 10.

Do I get screwed because of the surface change??

Beyerwise. Her best lifetime grass race was a Belmont. Her only yielding race showing was a good second in a 100k stake.

I still don't think I would've had her if I was 6 deep.

You are already a winner to both and you are going to get a pretty nice pay here as I don't think Jazzy was on too many tickets.

  Kinda feel cheated..

Pick 3 came back more than that.

Does that mean that Jazzy was on more pick 4 tix than pick 3 tix?

Are you talking about the P3 will pays? The last race is not a free square in the pick 3's. The will pays are different for each horse in the 10th.

pointman 07-03-2009 04:36 PM

Is it me or are the 3,4,10 overlays on the surface change and the 9 a tremendous underlay at 3-2?

I mean the Pick 3 that ended with Jazzy came back $185 for a buck, but the Pick 4 with all in the 10th comes back $147.

I see. I can't explain that one.

Nick, I like the 3 a little bit.

pointman 07-03-2009 04:47 PM

Belmont 10th

$20W 3 - just may go right down the pike and never look back
$10EXB 3,7
$1 SB 3,4,7,10

Good Luck, I am taking my chances against what looks to me to be a very vulnerable favorite on this surface!

I will take my chances at what looks to me to be an overlaid 13-1 on a horse that my not get pushed on the lead and the track usually gets a bit speed favoring with the muddy condition, maybe can salvage something here. Good Luck!
