Forget Paddy. Don't know exactly what happened to him, but he just got a NINE on the 2nd hole.

The wind induced penalty yesterday must've crushed him. ;)

The rules need to be changed.

Kev I need a ruling.
Explain why that rule exists.
It sucks big time.

Rule 18-2b talks about a ball at rest being moved after it has been addressed (the player has addressed the ball after he grounds his club). Whats interesting about the type of situation is if Paddy had not addressed his ball and the wind blew the ball closer to the hole, he would have been able to play the ball from where it ended up without taking a penalty. If the ball moves after it has been addressed, the ball must be replaced and the player incurs a 1 stroke penalty, UNLESS the balls moves as a result of the player making a stroke or the backward movement of the club in making a stoke.

I know, crazy stuff:zz:

CBS and ESPN suck. The god damn broadcast should be on by now. I don't give a good god damn about this sentimental bulls.hit they're showing right now.

Payson Dave 04-11-2009 02:10 PM

Bet he could not teach me to hit a ball straight.

I wish I could enjoy this game as there are courses
all around me and some are apparently cheap compared
to other places.
Im getting older and have experienced a severe decline in hops so
basketball is no longer an option.

One more thought from this fan of "Hillbilly"

if more PGA Pro's could handle themselves with the class that this "Hillbilly" handles himself with on and off the camera the sport would benefit. Tiger brings an element that draws not thousands, but millions to the game, and he is the real deal. BUT, guys like the "Hillbilly", Kenny Perry, also draw REGULAR guys and gals to the TV. That guy SCUDS you were referring to wearing the overalls, is with his wife, who is battling cancer and he has a heart condition. He would be in attendance at this MASTERS, but FAMILY, for "HILLBILLIES", comes first. All I am saying.

You get my drift I know you do.

Hillbilly gunna have his hands full trying to beat Cabrera. Gunna have to start making some more putts. May not win it shooting 70 or 71 again. Don't think Campbell or Furyk will win it, but plenty of other people adore the Furyk guy.

Furyk will have to convince me. No doubt, he will threaten n' show teeth, but he rarely takes the actual big bite.

I'm sticking with Furyk today, he's in great position just ahead of the leading group. He will post a score and see what the other 2 do down the last final holes. Tiger and Phil are too far back, not surprisingly considering how they played going into to this tournament, even though they did manage to win 3 tournaments this year you could see holes in their games, and Augusta is not a place where you want to be less than 100%. Should be a great afternoon of golf.

GPK 04-12-2009 03:17 PM

Just an incredible front 9 by Phil. Huge mistake on 12. See how he rebounds.

Tiger gonna need an eagle on 13 or 15 and some help from the leaders.

Great afternoon of golf in store.

Last two shots he has looked like me

Scav 04-12-2009 03:34 PM

Cabrera is hitting shanks and Kenny Perry wants to give it away, got that Tiger feeling

hi_im_god 04-12-2009 03:38 PM

was yelling "get in the hole!" ever clever?

how did that become the mating call of the "hey look at me!" golf attention whore?

Only thing worse those drunken idiots yell is "YOU DA MAN!!!"

Those assholes need eletrical currents run through their testicals for a few hours.

One the other hand, this tourney is getting very interesting. Nice to see Merrick with a great 66 to ensure a return trip next year.

SCUDSBROTHER 04-12-2009 04:19 PM

Make them match 12 under, Ken.
