i agree. there's no way i can see putting stardom bound above rachel alexandra, who has done everything right this year. rachel has been smashing the competition, seemingly as easy as can be imagined. also smashed the record at oaklawn two starts back. meanwhile, stardom bound had scant victories in her two wins this year, and of course we all know what happened yesterday. for whatever reason, some people become enthralled with the two year old filly champ each year...

It seems that no matter who it is, that filly will inevitably end up in SOMEONE's Derby top five when she has zero chance of ever being competitive in there.

Someone, somewhere will make that list....that's all I'm saying.

I have never seen a horse who is a 5 time Grade 1 winner that spots beyer figures as those of $20,000 claimers.
