Those decent Calder works tell you that he's not completely untalented. The jockey switch from Herkova to Garcia was rather huge.

Hindsight, because I certainly didn't use.

There was $990 bet on him to win out of a $62,062 win pool.

Unknown trainer with an 0/28 (as in o-fer hitting the board) jockey, not to mention only 3 works within the last month leading up to the race. Even using hindsight that horse was still impossible to play.

There was a jockey switch to Jessie Garcia who is capable. The trainer used to train horses in recent years. Not sure why he was away from the game, but I don't remember him as a horrible trainer.

lol, the old first timer in a field of crap angle. The horse had some good works at Calder.

Was alive after 3 races on a real ticket, ended up with 4 of 6.

Works very well several times a meet at Tampa.

Worked against me in last Tuesday's opener. Serves me right for betting on that terrible race I guess.
