Here we go. Luckily I won't have time to play around here all night tonight, but doesn't it ever occur to you that you and yours always go out of your way, without the slightest hint of irony, in response to a post I make with a point, to say things like "great dumb fuc|< answer" in a post which is actually nothing more than a completely empty, useless, "dumb fuc|<" post itself?

It's all so rich.

I don't think even you understood what you just didn't say.

Having not been around here that much lately, I totally forgot just how incredibly boring your schtick is.

Thanks for the quick reminder, now you can get your rocks off the rest of the day making jokes at my expense when I'm not here. At least now you'll have something to do tonight.

So thank you, and you're welcome.

Good bye,DiSpencer.

I think you're the only one here with you as your avytar.

What...are you hoping Dance With The Stars drops by?

It CAN'T be Sing and Play Banjo With the Stars.

Danzig 09-24-2008 06:33 PM

but really guys...it's evident that when anyone runs for office, he or she will do or say anything they can think of to get votes. whether it's pick a neophyte for a running mate, or a guy who's been in the senate for years, or 'suspending' a campaign ( really? suspending? right!) or saying no, i will not put off a debate-it's all in the interest of what will get me votes.
so, one side will spin this as 'we're putting the country ahead of our campaign' while the other will say 'we can do both at the same time'-both want to appear to be a leader, to be strong, to be capable...

It was one thing for McCain to suggest he needed to suspend his campaign(I thought it would just be the debate, but whatever), I could have given him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just ducking out of the Friday Night Fight...er, debate. But this talk of suspending his campaign until the bailout is approved, I don't like at all.

Postpone the first debate, then cancel the Palin/Biden debate until an as yet undetermined date, this is the plan from McCain.

What isn't needed is for Obama and McCain to show up to save the day, as either or both of them would be a distraction to getting real bipartisan work done

What the hell does McCain understand about this mess anyways? Would he have us believe he is the only honest man in Washington, therefore needs to be the gatekeeper over these negotiations? If they are all such a greedy, dishonest group, he might as well come out and name 50-100 names of corrupt legislators

Can Barack please stop hiding behind his Mortimer facade and hire me to his campaign instead of stealing my ideas?

ArlJim78 09-24-2008 09:30 PM

i think it probably was politically motivated, but i think it will backfire on him to be seen up there with Bush trying to ram this thing home. he will lose support from conservatives as i don't think this is going to play well. it doesn't with me.

these are dark times for those of us that are for smaller government.
