I wish I could find the one where he thought FDR was president in 1929 and FDR warned the nation in a TV address.

No wonder the polls think Palin is more qualified that Joe.

Geeker what did you think of palin's performance in the couric interview?

Honestly..I did not watch it. I was too busy watching my 401K turn to sh^t.

I saw the one clip asking about giving an example of McCain being a Maverick..one would think that would be a better question to ask McCain - Palin didn't have an answer - but I would think Katie could think of something better to ask than that. I actually thought "I'll get back to you" was a cute way of saying FU.

A lot of the points you have made seem to be more in line with Ron Paul.

I'M FOR COMING UP WITH LINES OF CREDIT. What I am not for is bailing out those who have given out bad loans, and want to get off the hook for it. You made the loan . Eat it. You wait until it's worth what you made a loan for. Don't have the taxpayer have to wait until it "comes around." Dalakhani, I am not interested in us cleaning up those bad loans people in your industry made. If there is a credit crunch, then lets have a new program to provide funding for new loans, but F those old loans they made. Stupid=repeating mistakes. The people who did this shouldn't get new taxpayer money to piss away. That would be repeating a mistake=stupid.

Why are the Dems for Bush's plan and not the Repubs?

I don't want the $700 billion filtering thru the same hands that said recently all was fine and dandy with the economy. Screw Paulsen!

Cuz the Dems want to give ACORN 20% of the bailout money. That's just one thing wrong with the plan.

They've got many problems with this. The primary one is nobody believes a liar who claims something must be done. That's the biggest one. These people have no credibility. You can't lie about the country's situation all year, and then say the problem is huge, and this must be done. I also think many people wouldn't mind being uncomfortable as long as those who ran the companies that wrote bad loans(while getting 60 million etc. compensation packages) are punished severely(something we have heard nothing about.) Most everyday People are much more interested in right n' wrong than these politicians are, and that's why many people don't want this bail out. Nothing is being said about the mistakes that were made, and who is going to be held accountable. They just want to give the same demons more money, and if you don't agree, they say you are gunna suffer mightily. Well, maybe, but the financial world is real good at making something appear a certain way when they want something. That's why people aren't so quick to believe them, and if this scum wants something real badly, then most likely it isn't gunna help the common guy. We have come to realize they are full of s-h-i-t. I really think this is a case of we will put up with the disease as long as scum like you have to get sick too. I wouldn't mind getting sick as long as scum at the top get sick, and have to pay for what they did. Make the threats. Do you really think the average person cares if they have to go through some minor pain in order to have major scum have to go through major pain? That's what is going on. We realize the only way to make the scum of this world pay is to go through some pain ourselves, and I think the average American is telling their Congressman just that. We know it will be bad on us, but if it's bad for cheating scum, then we will take the pain. We are able to take pain much better than this scum is able to. I just have a funny feeling that if we don't do this it is actually gunna hurt the scum of this world more than the average American. I will settle for equal pain. That is a good deal as far as I am concerned. 99% OF THE TIME THEY ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE WEALTHY AND POWERFUL, AND I DOUBT THIS IS ANY DIFFERENT.

You're damn right I am against it, and most Americans can tell when they are hearing crap ( especially from this piece of crap.) Fewer than four in 10 Republicans, three in 10 Democrats and one in 10 independents said they support the package. So, don't ask me why I am against the Democratic position in Congress. Ask them why they are for it. They are the ones siding with scum here.

I think this is one the president actually got right. Time will tell.
