reminds me of something josh pons wrote in his 'merryland' diary (love his stuff btw)-he had a list of expenses for the year in getting a yearling to a two year old. after the list he wrote something along the lines of 'no wonder people fall down running out of their box seat on the way to the winners circle'.

Nice try, but I believe that 'slick wall street guy' is his exercise rider, Walter Blum Jr. ;)
