Ramonti over 10furlongs? Interesting

With his keen style of running, i'm not convinced he will see out that trip. When they said he was going to Hong Kong, i automatically thought they meant for the mile race.

Creachadoir would have been mine choice for the 10 furlong race, as he didn't seem to have quite enough finishing speed over a mile in England and Ireland.

Very tough for the European raiders, don't you think? We will be lucky to leave with one winner. Surely Excellent Art is our best chance, but he is a very tricky ride in my opinion. First i just thought it was Spencer messing things up, but i think we saw that he is very tricky when he ran in the BC.

Dylan has had a long, tough season, and although on form he should be the best horse in the race, I'm not sure how good he will be after being on the go for so long. Hope he wins, but i'm not sure.

The sprint looks like a minefield really. Benbaun is better over 5 rather than 6 in my opinion. I would love to see Tiza run a nice race.

jaripeo 12-05-2007 08:35 PM

First list of the ones I like: VIVA PATACA is to much for the rest. Same as FLORAL PEGASUS. For a good bet price EVER BRIGHT and SCINTILLATION

brockguy 12-06-2007 05:31 PM

I really fancy Ramonti over 10f.. I think he has been crying out for it all year. Frankie has made him go very early in his mile races but I think he'll step up over 10f..

How did Arch Rebel get to HK??

I'm just not convinced with Ramonti. The races which he has won, he has been coming back to the field in the closing stages each time. Add that to the fact he is running against horses who stay very well, his stamina is going to be tested to the limit here.

Really enjoyed the racing so far.

How good was Sacred Kingdom........wow.

Couldn't believe how fat Dylan looked in the paddock, i knew he wouldn't be as fit as he could be, but he looked like a mare in foal. Never really expected him to win, but as soon as i saw him, he had no chance.

We are having to watch the races with a five minute delay, so you will probably get the results before i even see the race :(

my miss storm cat 12-09-2007 01:56 AM

Photo... Darjina and Floral peg.....

edit - On the phone with someone over there... now he's saying

GOOD BABA WON!

Very confused!

At least you can see them!

The hkjc site is overloaded so couldn't get on to listen.... play by play is costing me a fortune on the phone....

HOW DID MY BOY GOOD BABA LOOK?

Replay should be up in 5.....

NoChanceToDance 12-09-2007 01:59 AM

Good Ba Ba and Creachadoir.

Darjina very unlucky.

Looks like Good Ba Ba just has it.

Love this one :)

NoChanceToDance 12-09-2007 02:04 AM

Good Ba Ba looked very well through the race. Quickened along side Creachadoir on the outside and just kept holding of the Godolphin horse by the narrowest of winning margins.

Excellent Art was awful. Aidan must be wondering why he even bothered going there.

Darjina was held in for quite a while, but came fast when she saw daylight. Fairly unlucky not to be a line of three as they crossed the line.
