You couldn't do any better betting the horses a furlong from the finish.

Where are your picks? Oh yeah.

I got some pictures of your boyfriend :) I'll add them in another post if I can...if not PM and I'll email you the link.

What an outstanding day of racing and it may have been one of the most enjoyable days at the track for me this season. Picture perfect weather, smaller crowd and an interesting card filled with some very beautiful and well-pedigreed two year olds (my favorite races besides the top stakes).

The thing I always love about the track and racing fans in particular is that I always seem to meet some really neat people who have that instant bond of racing. Spent the entire day chatting up favorite horses with a married couple who I had never met before.

Lawyer Ron was outstanding today. Midnight Lute equally impressive and I definitely did not see that big of a performance coming from him. I liked Benny a lot last night when I was capping so it was enjoyable to see him run well.

Bullseye.

He rated nicely at just opened up.
Got to be the BCC favorite now.

I cant get the photos though.
Good call.

Ah well, PM them when you have the chance.

I'm really looking forward to the JCGC now. Much as I hope SK gets his G1 before he retires, it's been great seeing my Derby pick from '06 come into his own this year.

Doesn't give me back any of the $$ I lost on the '06 Derby, of course, but you have to take your joys where you can find them. :) Yay Lawyer Ron!
