just to let you know where i'm coming from, I never place any wagers with a teller, I only use the autotote machines. I use the teller for only one transaction and that is to cash out my voucher or to cash an irs ticket. [quote]

Exactly the same here. If anyone is going to screw up my ticket, it is going to be me and only me.

Last night I had a nice hit via computer on an Australian tri (before they cancelled the rest of the card) - gave myself a nice tip, going out to a great dinner tonight ....

I just go to my 'favorite' teller who hates his job, me and life and feel that no tip will reinforce his strong beliefs.

Actually on big hits, rare!! I will go to a friendly teller and get correct cash and leave a nice tip. Call it bettor's insurance. 20% of the tellers at Arlington are good and some are friends but that leaves 80% at least half who are a-holes. Need a channel changed? Yea there are 5 Arlington's up and no CD or Bel but thank God Thistle is up. They have to call TV as their union or just because of their plain ignorance they can't push a lousy button. Tip????? I also only use the SAMs, but if a teller has to fill out a W2G, I make a bet for them, usually $2 WP on an up coming race (that I also bet on for myself) for small wins, $3 or more if I won a large amount.

When I play blackjack I prefer to bet for the dealer also so they can get more if we win.
