GPK 06-09-2007 03:47 PM

I honestly think I saw her in the smoking section when I stopped by the OTB earlier to place some bets.

Thought I heard her yelling..."dem's my numbas...dem's my numbas.."

She would fit right in out here in redneckvil...I mean Roanoke.

No wait...PLEASE DONT BET HIM.

Not betting anything, and with the way Pletcher is going today, EC has little chance to hit the friggin board (There you go, he is in the winner circle now)

That doesn't give her an excuse for completely mismanaging this horse. The horse obviously has talent and has found his spot here sprinting but she is lucky that he is like the iron horses of old. Entering this horse in the derby was a complete joke and I understand it's the derby but cmon now im going to continue to be critical of her until she begins to show she understands what kind of horse she has here. After today it should be very very clear to her...

Antitrust32 06-09-2007 03:50 PM

Jamie sanders, wow. I'm glad she got her 3rd win for the year. Her husband should put in a gold tooth for the missing one with that money! The gold would go with the cowboy boots :)

T-burg is a real nice one turn horse. I remember cajun and i discussing during his arkansas races that he would be a good one turn horse ( 7 f to a mile). I wish I wouldnt have let those stupid triple crown preps and derby to mess with my thinking.

Coulda Shoulda Didnt

pointman 06-09-2007 03:51 PM

I'll make it easier for you guys, think the 10th race is deep. The only ones I did not use somewhere are the 1 and the 4. Run, don't walk, to the windows and bet 1,4.

sumitas 06-09-2007 03:51 PM

One of the most discussed horses on this board comes up big with 5 weeks off. Tberg looked much refreshed and game.

Antitrust32 06-09-2007 03:54 PM

yeah she looked very intelligent and professional with that hair.

Nice to get her 3rd win of the year.

still stupid

just has a good horse

if she can train him to win

anyone can

In other words, you don't like her so it doesn't matter what she does, you won't give her credit! This horse had every right to try the Derby...there is only one shot at the Derby and if you have a fit horse (and obviously this one is) why not try? If the horse came back dull you might have a point but this wasn't a dull horse you saw today! Sure, he appears to be an old fashioned iron horse, don't you think she realizes that?

Cajungator26 06-09-2007 03:59 PM

I love this horse...

Congrats to the connections of Teuflesberg. :)

sumitas 06-09-2007 04:00 PM

You called it. Hope you cashed a nice ticket.

King Glorious 06-09-2007 04:00 PM

Getting a win here doesn't change the fact that it was stupid to run him in the Derby. I don't think anyone ever said that they thought he was a tired or overused horse. Just misplaced. In fact, I take the opposite view. I thought he was a fresh horse. He hasn't run in months. He didn't run a step in the Derby and only ran a quarter mile in the Blue Grass.

I never said I wouldn't give her credit for today's win but I will continue to be critical of her due to the spots that she was entering this horse. I guess he did have the right to enter the derby but everyone and their grandmother knew this horse had no chance to be in the top 10 of that race. The horse has had 5 weeks off and as I said has some talent sprinting. But to not question her training ability and style with not only this horse but others as well is ridiculous. She is now 3 for 116 so obviously she has been doing things very very wrong. But to make everyone happy congrats to her for her thrid win. I hope she realizes what kind of horse she is working with now.

It all depends on whether Seattle (Jerry) likes him today or not.
Does anyone know?
What does Hank Goldie have to say?
