I'm with you -- he's got the connections in his corner. Gotta think that Catalano/Calabrese will be using him again full time this summer.

That's pretty much the deciding factor most summers of late as to who wins the title. When Douglas was riding first call for them, he was winning runaway races every summer. Same for Bridgmohan two years ago.

Problem with Razo is that his riding is schizo. One day he will win 4 races convincingly, then go 0-40.

I do bet him everytime that he gets on a Richie Schrerer horse though, they have had good numbers for years

Joel Campbell is riding at Prairie Meadows....saw him today riding there.

LAVIOLETTE - Mark Guidry is his agent, I CAN'T wait to talk **** to the Guid now, because I really like him as a jockey, but representing this bum is his worst decision of all time. Guidry must not like making money

Betancourt - randy romero is his agent

Douglas wins this jockey title by Arlington Million Day......

I have never seen his brother rep'd here before in that first condition book, he might be coming here for weekends or something.

All these jocks are nuts anyways, they should be riding Prairie Meadows, where the purses are double

saucon17 04-24-2007 09:02 PM

I always liked the Silva/Hazelton combo.

Habersham000 04-24-2007 09:02 PM

No bigger purses at Arlington.....7500 claimers are running for 9500 purses at Prairie and they allowance is at 27000, few g's lower then arlington

Arlington runs 5000 claimers for bigger purses then Prairie Meadows running 10000

Your nuts....i saw it last year and the PM races were almost double. Maybe it isn't the part of the meet where they juice the purses at PM then

Albarado will come after CD because he has nowhere else to go.
Guidry's kid has Laviolette not the Guid
Randy Romero,Jr is agent for Betancourt

Habersham000 04-24-2007 09:12 PM

Scav trust me straight allowance purses and maiden special purses and 2-3 g's less then arlington before the festival increases.

Well then Mark, the father needs to knock some sense into him. the son must be hitting the father up for loot because Shane Laviolette makes NOBODY money, not even himself

That I understand, but when PM starts their whatever, they dwarf Arlington purses

saucon17 04-24-2007 09:24 PM

I see Carlos Marquez Jr. opted to ride the Del Park meet instead at Arlington always had good success when I bet on him at Arlington.

disappearingdan_akaplaya 04-25-2007 12:57 PM

scav guidry's kids been a agent for awhile now, i believe he used to have thorntons book. anyways though i dont see why rene would be allowed to ride and TD wouldnt, i heard a few weeks ago that arlington wasnt gonna allow td but who knows i thought he was gonna go to IND downs and hes still here. anyways TD made a real nice ride for us on friday, ill put the pic up later.

Could not agree more. I will have to go to my second favorite angle on the Arlington lawn -- Perez on a Block-trained turfer. Kills me every time, but not this meet...I'm all over it.
