Your decision making won't get any better with me in South Florida all weekend either. :D

Hope you're ready! I'm pissed for missing out on New Orleans this weekend... I aim to have a few drinks and lose some $$. LOL

You're SURE the second place finisher wins next time?

I just watched the race again. No doubt the speed dual set it up nice for Flores, but he timed it fine and the horse did exactly what he was supposed to do. The 7 went wide and was going extremely well late, and should improve next time out.
I'm not annointing Les Grand Trois a Derby contender or anything, but what on earth do you want from a horse coming off an 8 month layoff? It was a nice, professional win. Simple as that.

I don't want anything from him. I'm just saying his win today was ordinary and workmanlike. Based on this anybody that is predicting major future success, not saying anyone is, would be seriously jumping the gun.

I agree with you that the second horse had a tougher trip and all things being equal I thought ran a better race.

I don't know wtf Gomez was thinking on the 7. He was much closer to the pace last time out and it was a furlong shorter.

I'm just going to resign myself to the fact that SoCal racing is impossible to figure out. I swear it's like ****** dust is sprinkled on the jockeys and horses on days I gamble there.

You'll see my quote from before the race where I said the same thing. Take my double up today and not like against better at the same low odds based on Frankel and him being undefeated. However, I will say every horse I have owned would be beaten by this one, so good luck to Bobby.

Bayshore Bound?

According to NYRA / Aqueduct's website it appears that they expect Les Grand Trois to run in the Bayshore on Saturday.

What are the odds that he actually starts?

99% They've said he is going to run there for the past month so I don't see why things would change.

Yes, facing Bill Place, Wolllaston Bay and a few other horses I've never heard of.
Pletcher originally had Out Of Gwedda pointed here, but was scared to death to run against Les Grand trois, so decided to run him in the Layfaette at Keenland the same day. :p

Seriously though, the frankel/pletcher matchup of Keyed Entry vs Latent Heat in the carter should be a doozy.
