wait a while.
Wait a While's racing career is over Wait a While, the champion 3-year-old filly of 2006, has been sent to Kentucky to be bred in 2009 and will not race again, according to Michael McCarthy, trainer Todd Pletcher's assistant trainer in California. Wait a While, 5, finished third in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf at Santa Anita on Oct. 24, three-quarters of a length behind Forever Together. She ends her career with 12 wins in 24 starts and earnings of $2,394,917. "She's in Kentucky," McCarthy said. "She will be bred. Racing is over for her." Wait a While won 11 stakes, including three Grade 1 races - the American Oaks and Yellow Ribbon of 2006 and the 2008 Yellow Ribbon in September. She won seven other graded stakes, including the Grade 2 Ballston Spa Handicap at Saratoga in 2007 and 2008. McCarthy said that breeding plans have not been finalized. |

It's hard to decide which of those three affects the game the most. Shark ( he's a Flanders...right? ) really hits me hard.

I couldn't remember if it was Surfside or Flanders....but actually thought he wasn't old enough. He must have been Surfside's first foal. I feel like he ran third in his debut. |

Anyway, maybe you can go visit him at stud. :D |
I tried to avoid seeing him race.....why exactly would I want to see him having sex?

Good point.

You know who you should go visit?
Colonial Colony. 1. Cause I love him to death and 2. cause i remember reading he wasn't exactly doing well at stud. Maybe some tips, some motivational speaking? Just a thought... Thanks in advance. |

Linngari.....
Beloved globtrotter, former flagbearer for Herman Brown, dual Group 1 winner, and consumate traveller..... He ran in England, in Dubai, Germany, Hong Kong, Turkey, and in most of these places multiple times. There were other countries, I just can't think of all of them right now. He bows out for Sir MIchael Stoute with a gallant run in the Hong Kong Cup where he was 3rd. Happy retirement to the little horse who could. * * * Not adding Bullish Luck till the official announcement, incase Tony changes his mind. |
