Those Euro's Knew what they were doing:D
|
Damn :(
|
beautiful run by raven's pass.
as for the built in excuse, only one horse won on the main track the last two days who had shown previous ability on the dirt-midnight lute. edit~matter of fact...i chose fatal bullet in the sprint, because of all his proven ability on the surface, not because i thought he fit well class-wise. he ran second. crazy track, crazy decisions made. but hey, the euros are happy, eh? |

Raven's Pass and Henrythenavigator run 1-2 in the Classic. Guess it wasn't too hot out for them either. |
couple interesting comments right after the race from Robby said he was the same old Curlin Asmussen said going into the first turn he was off the bridle and knew he was in trouble.
|
I won a sh*t load of money and I don't care if it's redboarding!
YES!!!!!!!! |
Oh My God
|
last place.
at least he can go on vacation with all those frequent flier miles. what a waste of an entry. |

we all just dodged a bullet.

He'll be back and exact his revenge next year :)
|
it is funny. i saw casino drives jock look behind him about ten second before getting inhaled and told my son, he's making sure there's no one behind him, because he knows he's about to make a beeline for the rear. sure enough.
oh man, and some of us got a lot of grief for dismissing this horse, who deserved to be dismissed. |

I implore you.... Please, for the love of all things good and holy, post your NFL picks in the Sports Bar and Grill. You may singlehandedly pull us out of the recession. A grateful nation anxiously awaits your reply |

And hit it for himself.
Putting $50K into the pockets of horseplayers is a beautiful thing. |
Hank made money. Sign of the apocalypse?

he was no mystery. he was the comedy in the race. the mystery was the euros, and they solved the case quite easily today. they'll be here in spades next year. for all they missed out on yesterday, they more than made up for it today. |
just curious, what size of a ticket did he use

well I'm depress now and will bring up a bad habit and try to recoup at mountaineer, I'm guessing you don"t want to see my picks at Mnr.lol

$5K. He put in the same ticket for himself that he did for OTB ( they mandated a $5K ticket ) just as he did last year. It's more than he wanted to play but he didn't want to rue missing out. As it was, the first five winners were As, so he couldn't have missed even for relatively small money. |

I don't know what made me happier, scoring in the race, or seeing that Casino Drive was last.
|
mind you, it was a very slow bullet that had no moves.
but still. it was a bullet. |
The wiley Dattori sat off Curlin . Then pushed the button just a little later and that got him to the wire soonest .
