You are a fan so your opinion is skewed.

I posted their stats. I will give you that they do get some picks but overall it's like a hot knife through butter against their D.

Mostly because they are out there a lot lately (after the injuries), nobody plays well when they are on the field all the time, ask the Broncos D for the last two weeks.

49 unanswered. The prosecution rests

Would Kyle Orton beating his former team be considered karma?

Considering Orton didn't play badly yet was dismissed for Tebow...perhaps.

King Glorious 01-02-2012 02:58 PM

He definitely played the worst game of his life when it mattered most. It was ugly and a terrible time to be in Denver, minus the beautiful weather of course. Wish I could be here next week.

herkhorse 01-03-2012 03:33 PM

This paragraph by Vince Verhei pretty much sums it up:

Tebow made headlines for leading the Broncos to seven wins in his first eight starts, but in hindsight, that streak is looking much less spectacular. Only one of those victories came by more than one score, three came in overtime and none came against a team that made the playoffs. While Denver had a lot of exciting wins in 2011, none of them were terribly impressive.

At first I thought it kind of odd that he was on the sidelines praying before Denver's last drive against the Chiefs Sunday, then I realized he was just praying for Oakland to lose.

Clip-Clop 01-03-2012 03:37 PM

And if (HUGE IF)they win Sunday everyone will say it was because of all the injuries to the Steelers. Which of course will be true, but you play the team in front of you. It isn't like Denver is healthy, at all.

herkhorse 01-03-2012 03:40 PM

At 8-8, they don't even deserve a home playoff game.

Frankly, after the last three weeks, they do not deserve a playoff game at all. But they get one.
Giants deserve one?

doesn't matter if they deserve it, the giants are going. they do deserve it more than the other nfc east teams-but it was certainly not a good division this year.

But there's always the scenario where he may go 3 for 27 for 29 yards and run 18 times for 29 yards but lead the game winning drive leading to a Prater 66 yard field goal as time runs out and a 6-3 Bronco win. Then it may need 50 more pages.

Dahoss 01-08-2012 07:18 PM

I was here when he played like sh.it, so I'll be here when he played well. Kudos to him on a better performance today and the Broncos took advantage of a favorable situation. Should be some interesting games next week.

herkhorse 01-08-2012 07:23 PM

I hope the magic continues next week.

Patrick333 01-08-2012 07:30 PM

He did a nice job. I kept wondering when the big turnover was going to take place. It didn't.

Good luck to Denver next week.

bigrun 01-09-2012 01:20 PM

The John 3:16 sign used at all NFL games has now been changed to Tebow 3:16 ! That is the number of yards Tebow passed for in the playoff game Sunday...
