Being right about something you "hate on" doesn't translate to calling someone a "hateful person."

i did some more googling this morning before i left for work. apparently the wahabi sect is the ultra-whacky branch of islam; not the sunni or shiite. its founder said no changes are acceptable, since the third century is what i remember it said...yeah, they flow with modern times. anyway, does the sect make the terrorist, or is the terrorist attracted to an ultra-conservative view? i think it's the latter-whacko people finding a whacko viewpoint to justify their horrible behavior.

but 10% of one billion is not a small number no matter how you look at it.

and to the bolded part... where did that come from when I specifically mentioned 10%?

i'm talking about the amount of actual terrorists willing to commit a crime, not those who support them..no telling how big that second number might be. people might laugh when someone leads a high speed chase, doesn't mean they want to engage in one as well. how many bombs would be going off worldwide daily if 10% of the muslim world was engaging in actual crime? a lot i'd imagine.

then what the hell do you pose the question for???....to see it in print! This is one of the reasons some of us get perterbed with you, because you've pulled this same stunt dozens of times. Take a hint...dont try to trick someone in a discussion....find the common ground to start and move forward...eventually!

What is the definition of a hateful person? Someone who hates. If Bob is saying that I hate Muslims, that would make me a "hateful person".

Do you have another definition of a "hateful person"?

The definition of a "hateful person" is irrelevant, as you brought that into the conversation, not Bob.

The problems is that I don't think you quite understand what the term "hate on" means, which is the term Bob used.

I "hated on" Gio Ponti before the Million, it doesn't make me a vengeful person with a hateful heart who wishes death or ill will to Gio Ponti.

So what does "hate on" mean in the context that Bob used it?

of course the first post was right. but the liberals and conservatives have to go crying to "daddy" government. somehow the government will solve all their problems even though there is no problem. i can understand the liberals, they have always been like this. the conservatives (thats what they call themselves) are now the same mode. if they don't like something they want the government to control it....hell, they are even worse than that. they think we can control the world by invading and rebuilding countries. the only one that makes sense on the entire issue is the mayor...which makes the most sense because he is an independant. people don't even realize they get munipulated by both sides for a vote........we are a country of geniuses......yeah right......lol:zz:

:zz: Excuse me? It's not my fault you can't understand what I said

I said I think poverty, lack of a job, etc. contributes to violence. No, I don't think poverty, lack of having a job, etc. is "society's fault".

That is too complex for you to understand? If so, don't blame me.

And as the guy who answered back, "typical flaming liberal shrieking.....it's all societys' fault" you're obviously not the one to be lecturing on discussion technique.

Antitrust32 08-27-2010 11:53 AM

^^^ wishes she had a non-discussion technique.

Then why are most of the terroristic types well educated and from well off families? The Mid-Eastern countries are swimming in oil, cranking in the $$. That is the last place that should be crying poverty. Maybe they should turn their terrorism against their own "homelands". Israel has no oil, but democracy seems to be keeping them fairly happy. Sh!t if it weren't for Hamas and Hezzzbollah Isreal would be a frikkin Utopia. Maybe jealousy and the blame game have something to do with it. Oh, those are the cards being played by the progressives in this country now. Life isn't fair. get the fukc over it. Obamas policies of redistribution of wealth seem fair to those who are looking for more freebies, but what about those of us who work hard pay our bills pay our taxes live within our means then see it taken away to be given to slackers looking for a hand-out from BIG-BRO. What the fukc is fair about that? That poor cabbie should sue the people trying to put that Mosque at ground zero. They are the ones stirring up the sh!t. I read that he was against the Mosque in the first place. If you are going to get behind the 1'st Amendment, PLEASE, at least be consistent and get behind the 2n'd. And all the others for that matter. People can disagree with Obama without being racist. People can be against the G-Z Mosque without being anti-muslim too. The progressives should grow up just a little bit and chill out with the name calling. That's the last resort of someone who has lost the arguement. Good Luck on Travers Day! See ya there!
