i'm just glad i was able to shower this evening, since i had no power this morning. which meant no coffee.

i listened to the 'debate' all day about the vp candidate. i just think it's sad that many comments are about her looks-as tho that has anything to do with her abilities....then there's the 'she has young kids, what is she thinking about running for?'--like anyone asked that of jfk, or asks it now about barack. still a lot of double standards in this country. but it's still better than much of the rest of the world...at least i'm allowed to drive! but we still have a way to go.
