They helped me to a 5th place finish in the BCBC and a return of $165,000. That was preceded by finishes in 13th, 9th and 7th place. BTW I thought your daily handicapping during Saratoga was quite good. That said I'd still be happy to go head to head vs you for any amount you feel is appropriate. Or better yet. Loser has to agree to walk away from ALL social media for life. You man enough to risk your $$$ or DT life? Doubt it. Too much fun trying to make each and every person you deal with feel horrible. @thetriptracker |
Happy new year

Let’s talk about the Bejarano situation. You again tried to save face, but as usual, because of your massive ego, you were unable to own that you were wrong and pandered to morons. Everyone here remembers your “generational” comment and how you could never actually admit you were wrong. It’s a personality flaw. I know them well. You idolize Tom Durkin right? Did he ever chastise a rider on mic? Why do you think that was? You think you’re bigger than the game. You’re an arrogant POS and ultimately you’re fake. Every once in awhile (like now when you thought mentioning my Twitter handle would be some gotcha moment) we get the real you. Not the pandering you, but the real Vic. That person seems okay. Not sure why you spend so much time and energy trying to be something you aren’t but I have a few ideas. I’m also not sure why you haven’t blocked me by now. You did on Twitter after the lashing Joe Santos gave you. Again I have a few ideas. You have a legion of morons who think you’re pretty special. Guys married to women who look like Scott Baio, guys who work at Mountaineer and think they’re Joe Hirsch reincarnated…you get the point. But I see you for what you are. Always have. And that really bothers you. Deep down inside you want me to like you sooooooo bad. For me, that’s better than winning any head to head will ever be. Straight and strong! |

We all know duh hoss is way too chicken **** to get in a handicapping contest with Vic. After all, a proven loser has no chance against a skilled proven winner like Vic.

Many people thought the trip notes were good and told me so. They weren't viewed. They were written. How could they be garbage? I finished 5th. I've admitted several times that SECRET OATH in fact didn't turn out to be generational. Aren't legions good? Why on earth would I block you? That would suggest I care about what you say. This internet thing is supposed to be fun. You make it that. Winning the vitriol head to head is your ONLY chance. Because you know very well, I'd destroy you at Saratoga. I don't want you to like me. Anything else? |

I hope everyone wins. Even people I don’t like. I can’t root against anyone.

You blocked me on Twitter. That’s a fact. Not sure why you’re pretending you didn’t but I’m sure you have an excuse. You’re free to think what you want about your chances head to head. It’s all talk because you’d never take me on head to head with the outcome being one of us has to leave social media. You couldn’t live without the attention. You need it. I don’t. You desperately need to remind people how special you think you are and without it you’d go crazy. Of course you care about what I say. If you didn’t you wouldn’t have cried and begged me for years to stop calling you out. Again, I see you for EXACTLY what you are. You can’t fool me. And it kills you inside. You don’t want losers like Alabama Stakes thinking you’re cool. Everyone can see that. |

I don't do that. It's more the jealousy you spoke of. I feel it too sometimes. I wouldn't kick yourself too much for that. |

To quote the GREAT actor Rod Steiger from the iconic film IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT To DA-WHATEVER and ANDY " I don't think this is an opportunity you can pass up" The chance to kick my butt at the windows and shut my POS, arrogant, narcissistic, blowhard et al mouth up. How can it get better? Two against one and a decided home court advantage. Saratoga is FAR from my wheelhouse. My comfort zone is OAKLAWN and SO. CAL. Banishment of me from all forms of social media is on the line still as well. And I'll put up $110 for every $100 you risk. You did the work last year, which was superb BTW, so this won't be any bigger burden of your valuable time. Just tell us if you accept or not. No need to reiterate what a horrible POS person I am. We got it. This is time to put up or explain why you're too chicken to try to knock me off my high horse. |

I can't stop you from what you say. But I will not involve myself in any way. I'm very active on Twitter and try to be a positive constructive influence as well as an ambassador for our sport. That's why you don't exist there. Here on the other hand is much more free form. While I still won't ever be baited into vulgarity. I will trade punches here. Think of yourself as sitting at the Thanksgiving KIDS table. That's the ONLY run you'll ever get from me. |
Someone needs a timeout.

I'm about to take one. I'm 63 years old and today getting my first and most likely last tattoo. It was a family Christmas idea run amok. Full report after I stop crying like a baby. BTW, interested in the Saratoga challenge? What an opportunity for the man with the best opinion in NY to shut up the Wicked Blowhard of the West! |
Quote:
What you're saying is, because Twitter is a wider audience, you're afraid I'll let too many people know about what a scumbag you are and that'll ruin your BS. You want to act high and mighty there but have no problem being a little more real here. Interesting. The fact that I've been able to get whatever run I wanted out of you for YEARS speaks more about you than me. You're absolutely right when you allude to me being a nobody in the industry. That's my choice. Just like it's your choice to embarrass the industry. I don't need to remind everyone all the instances. But make no mistake, you embarrass the industry you work in. |

Andy's more of a Maryland circuit guy. I'll stick with Andy and DA-WHATEVER. I wanna beat the best. I'm afraid they aren't going to accept the challenge. I wouldn't if I were them. Still holding out hope. |

On Twitter you can still read the Tweets of people who you've blocked. I've read yours. A very small fraction are about me. The rest are cruel, hateful, disgusting and worse. Seemingly from a very dark place. Aren't there any people in your life that you wouldn't want to see that hate and vulgarity? People who look up to you? |
Quote:
Yet, after your critique of Bejarano how many in the industry backed you up? Better yet, how many people in the industry ever back you up, whether it be here or on Twitter? Think about that and think about why that might be. As you say, just one opinion. But you'd think someone who has been in the industry for as long as your have would have more respect from his peers. I'd think someone of your stature would have more than 11k twitter followers. Just one opinion of course. |
Just like how unlikely it is that any horse ever surpasses Secretariat's Belmont with the best performance ever, who would have thought that one day SCUDSBROTHER would be the second worst poster in Derby Trail history.

The rest is so laughable it's not even worth my time. Cool tattoo by the way. You should have gotten a tattoo on your lower back that reads "The Panderer" |

Your behavior and how it impacts the people around you. The offer of the Saratoga contest? Truth be told if you could replicate last year I probably wouldn't win. You were close to $2.00 ROI which taint easy McGee. But I expect we'll never know because you don't have the guts to take me on. Glad you liked the tattoo. I'll take the "panderer" suggestion under advisement. |

Then again, I’ve never had my car repossessed from my workplace like you have so maybe you’re projecting. I can’t imagine that was a proud moment for the Stauffer clan. You’re the one that blocked me….and then admitted to reading my tweets. Why is that? Why don’t you want to discuss that? You ignored my point that no one in the industry ever supports you. Even here. Mountaineer Mark doesn’t count because no one in the industry takes him serious anyway (except for you). Why did you not want to discuss that? As we get closer to Saratoga and if you haven’t totally gone off the deep end by then we can look at some sort of head to head. Not sure what figuring out something 7 months in advance will accomplish but my guess is this is your desperate attempt to save face after yet another embarrassing encounter with me. It didn’t work. No one cares Vic. |
Quote:
I guess I read what you say for the same reason people look at car accidents. There's no doubt that what you post on Twitter. The Hate, The Accusations and all the rest. Nothing can explain that away. Just reprehensible behavior. It would be super awful and shameful if Vic never existed. So bad. If I don't go off the deep end. The offer will stand in 7 months. Will you stand up and back up all your blither? Or just continue to deflect? It'll be fun whipping your tail. Won't be able to deflect and explain THAT away. |

How about when you tried to steal a gig from a fellow announcer? How about when you bullied a fellow announcer and cheered when the track he announced at closed? I don’t know too many people that get fired via email but it speaks volumes about how they felt about you as an employee and a person. I’m sure all proud moments in your life and things your family speaks about proudly at get togethers. Lots of things you don’t seem to want to respond to. Your behavior and how it impacts the people around you. Nothing can explain the way you’ve carried yourself and presented yourself for all these years. That’s why no one in the industry likes you. That’s why no one in the industry respects you. That’s why no one in the industry defends you when you mess up. Let me know how much further you want to go here. I can keep going but even I’m starting to feel bad for you. |
All this colorful content because I was anxious about the LaBrea v Malibu fig. Who Knew?

You've been working in the industry for 40 plus years. You've called some of the biggest races and have also done pretty well as a handicapper in tournaments. Why would someone who is actually a name in the industry lower themselves to worrying about tweets by someone who is not at your level? What could you possibly gain by doing this? From my understanding Craig reached out to Durkin and they had a discussion. So other than needing to bully someone lower on the totem pole than you, what is your deal? Spare me the announcer brotherhood stuff. You didn't care about that when you tried to steal Wrona's job. You didn't care about that when you publicly cheered when the track Craig was announcing at closed, and he'd be losing a job. Other than you're a bully and a bad person, I can't think of any reason why you'd waste a minute on this stuff. Would Tom Durkin behave like you? Trevor Denman? Travis? Frank M? Larry? The list goes on and on. All of these announcers don't do the things you do and they still remain relevant. You say you're a positive force in the sport and than behave like trash. I get it, you think you do no wrong but not all people are as dumb as Ass.hole Stakes. People see you for what you are. Maybe some aren't as vocal as I am, but you don't fool everyone. Maybe if you stopped trying so hard to appear as a good guy and were actually just a good guy you'd stay out of trouble. These are the reasons I think you're a POS. You actually have a voice and the chance to represent the sport well and I think you don't. Everything is about you. You think you're bigger than it all. That's on you. Durkin was the GOAT, but he never made it about him. He was humble, he made it seem like he was lucky for the sport. Your attitude is the sport is lucky to have you. |
