I went with Georgia today. I messed up badly yesterday. I bet on Istanford to win..... I used the 12 in the contest. I was sick afterwards....

Thought I had a winner there at the head of the stretch. Mum's Truckee was truckin':D I think I'm going to have to forget about winners and play them all to place.:zz:

Well at least she outran Brisnet's prediction. They had her picked 10th. Delmar handicapper didn't seem to like her much either.

Was great odds at 15-1 ML. Was surprised to see her open at 5-1. She drifted a bit and from 7 MTP to 5 MTP she dropped from 7-1 to 4-1. Some people clearly knew she was ready to roll today. Unfortunately, I think Maldonado rode her a bit too confidently, if there is such a thing.

Kudos to those that had the winner. I couldn't make a case for that horse at all except in hindsight and even then she didn't seem very impressive, but she had run the fastest at the distance behind Mum's Truckee and she was one of the few that had raced recently.

I'm currently at -$110 (lol).

Good thing there is plenty of time.

Always amazes me at how quickly the leader gets so far ahead in this contest. My prediction was for the leader to have about $2500 after the first week. I missed it by almost a thousand dollars. The leader has $3470 after the first 4 days of play. I think that horse yesterday paid about $50 bucks so that's about $2500 of it(assuming he or she had it).

Im a closer looking to make a sustained late run....
Right now Im sitting at 2916, honestly its right where I wanted to be after opening week.

I haven't seen them post the race for tomorrow yet.
