Nice try...

Les Miles deserves absolutely no credit for that so called win. I have a feeling Andy Reid and Les are related. How do you get a delay of game penality after calling a time out?? only the friggin Eagles.

clyde 10-04-2010 02:27 PM

Hey, he's pretty good then.

Maybe Les and Andy can get together and scheme some good show stoppers. You know..give the crowd their money's worth.

I firmly believe Les would be a perfect fit for Notre Dame. With dumb luck he is constantly the beneficiary of, and the divine help of touchdown Jesus, the Irish would win every game.

You know, Mr. Gopher...did you ever think in those last 10 seconds --- the Master Mind wasn't just trying to eat up some clock?

Let's be fair.

Let's be fair.

only someone out of their mind would think that about those last 10 seconds with Master Mind.

Did it look like he was just trying to eat up some clock?

Can you imagine the next time Lessy gets into a last second mess like this?

The players standing behind are doing this in mockery:

:zz:

He senses it and turns around to look at them..quickly.

They all quickly change to this:

i didn't give him credit for winning. was a wild finish, reminded me of the game where the band took the field, and the opposing team scored a td while wending their way thru the horn section.

my point is, every week we win again, but people are still unhappy-and we could be in ga's shoes. or ole miss'...

My point is...it's a huge red flag.

An omen portending of things to come.

It is not exactly a good omen.

clyde 10-04-2010 09:21 PM

But LSU isn't everything..you always have StatePenn.

God they suck!!

clyde 10-04-2010 09:29 PM

They are terrible. Nice inept offensive 3 point effort against Iowa. I got roped into thinking they might be good this year. :wf

Michigan St-Michigan this weekend determines who battles OhSt for the prize. I'm not buying Iowa at all.

Yes..I feared that Iota/StatePenn contest so stayed away.WrongTurno---needs to go.

You may well be right on the Michiganders.....but Ohio State may not be there at the end.

dagolfer33 10-09-2010 09:56 PM

Todays game would have to confirm to anyone who didnt believe Miles has no earthly clue.

dagolfer33 10-09-2010 10:07 PM

Imagine that, we won the game. Whoooooohooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D Good thing we put our good QB in, of course we only use him when we need to score points or move the ball down the field. The rest of the time we just try to grind the clock as far down as possible, and then, in the end, it works and we win the game. We are the best, players and coaches, team in the world.:wf:zz:

No, but it looked like he might say something like that to the chubby blonde chick Holly Rowe.

State Penn confirms today your thought that Paterno needs to go. Illinois? AT HOME?!?

It worked, but the fake FG was kind of a bizarre call in that situation, no? Gotta give him credit for balls because he would have gotten roasted if it didn't work out.

If the ball tilts one inch either way when the punter tossed it over his head, the ball doesn't bounce the way it did and they lose the game for sure. The most bizare thing is, they have 1 timeout and about 40 seconds and the ball at the gators 45 yard line and first down. Why in the hell would you even think about running the ball twice from there considering the game situation and the clock situation. Its not like they were in field goal range at that point, and Lee was having a great night throwing the ball percentage wise. It defies explanation. Unless Miles does have a Satanic pact. That would explain it.

Danzig 10-10-2010 10:48 AM

yes, a wild finish...but really, lsu outplayed florida for much of the game. i'm happy with the outcome, obviously.
it was a good night. capitals gave the devils a drubbing, made martin brodeur look ordinary-he got pulled....and lsu goes to 6-0, and people are starting to talk about the last time they did that. the last time they did that, they had a successful fake fg to lead them to a win. not sure how this will all turn out, but i'm happy today.

New idea Les Miles may be able to incorporate into his last 10 seconds game plan:

Coach Pants 11-01-2010 04:37 PM

Les Miles quote 11/1/10

Quote:

I guess what I'm saying is I'm in the key piece of my season where the big plays have yet to have been made. As I go into the next game, I look for those plays to be more important than anything that we've done in the past, and to say that I have any opinion to this point that would be finite would not.
