I dont get how Chris was being a racist???? Did not the poster state how they couldnt understand our governments intrest in a war that has been waged for decades upon decades ? Did not the poster show really no empathy for either side in this whole thing? So the poster hates Jews and Arabs? You prove my point, all that we know about each other is taken from the words we post...you can click on your handle and review all your previous posts (as I did), they clearly demonstrate your view on all followers of Islam, you state that Muslim = Terrorist and your words such as "I think the people.....if it were handed to them on a silver platter" are demeaning, not to mention simplistic. Ironically, I totally agree with you about religion, but there are 8 Million Jews in the United States who probably aren't thrilled with bombs being lobbed at their people, no matter how long it has been going on. And, in my mind, that makes it extremely relevant. Not more or less than other atrocities, but compared to how you are casually dismissing this, very relevant.

It's a constant struggle to keep religion out of government...to be honest, it's always a matter of degree. When Bush stared hearing the voice of god, I started getting really nervous! While we don't burn witches at the stake anymore, we don't elect them to public office either. And since many Christians
believe all non-Christians are corrupted by the devil....well, tolerating and accepting are different concepts. I prefer missionaries to armed troops but the thought process is the same....

Bush proved why religious wackos should not run anything but in all fairness to Bush, who I do not like at all, he was just a puppet. It is very obvious to any objective person that Cheney was running the show. Every important memo on any important issue came from his desk.

I don't really care what Israel does. It isn't America. They can defend themselves. I never understood why they were such wimps and let these crazy people constantly terrorize them. But the fact is they are not as crazy as the Arabs, but they are pretty close. Take the religious symbol off your flag and some rational people like myself might have a little more respect for them.

There are more Christians than anything else in America, but thank God we don't have a cross on our flag. Religious symbols on flags are nothing more than an illustrations of insanity.

The USA held them back? What are we their daddy? They should do whatever they need to do and we should stop giving all these crazy countries money. It isn't our problem. I am Irish and English. I could have cared less if the crazy Catholics and Protestants blew each other up in Ireland. That is their problem, not mine, and not any other US taxpayer. The flag doesn't bother me at all. I don't think twice about countries the size of New Jersey until my tax dollar starts being thrown down the sewer giving them aid they don't need. I am well aware of the history. The only reason the US cares is because of the oil that is there. This country needs to get the hell off foreign oil by investing in alternative energy and more drilling in the US. It is disgraceful my President has to deal with these wackos and call up OPEC and ask them to pump more oil.
