Cannon Shell 06-26-2008 07:44 PM

Yes indeed those are all solid players. Jeez.
These guys have the basketball IQ of a cactus.

Cannon Shell 06-26-2008 07:46 PM

I still think that Joe Alexander is the guy everybody will be wishing they took in 3 years.

that does not matter anymore, its about ATHLETES

Cannon Shell 06-26-2008 07:47 PM

Rush is a good fit for Portland. will be good for 15 mins a game

So the Spurs pull in a player to start that is expected to do
nothing. So Ducan can be double teamed with no reprecussions.
Good call.

Defense will be more of a problem facing mobile players.
But he can guard the strong centers. He is bottom heavy
and very strong.

listen in 3 years lets look at this
i would bet hes a bust, no more then 10 points and no more then 8 rebounds a game, and with that high a pick, i would call that A BUST

We totally disagree.
You pick a guy that can jump is quick etc...
I care about hands and feet along with some basketball sense.
We just totally disagree about what to look for.

Uhhh where is Harold Minor right now... Baby Jordan... I think #2 in the draft. How many athletes that are not basketball players do you have to go through to figure this out? You need to draft for the AND ONE team.

Cannon Shell 06-26-2008 07:53 PM

I see Joe Alexander as a modern day version of Marques Johnson

Oh christ sakes, look how many times you have changed your mind.

Oh jeez, the bald-headed genius agrees with me about Love.

Whats worse. Having Vitale agree with you, or JC disagreeing.
No win.

Storm Cadet 06-26-2008 07:55 PM

Joe Alexander kicked our asses this year...wait.... so did everybody else:zz:

Cannon Shell 06-26-2008 07:56 PM

Dick vitale just said that a frontcourt of Jeff green, Love and Durant would be a good idea. Wow.

Cannon Shell 06-26-2008 07:59 PM

The suns just pick the tall version of Krusty the Clown

1.Bayliss, I saw him do fantastic things, I saw him disappear, I dont know.

2.Bad for big men if the Lopez brothers go so high.

Collison is not a bust because to be considered a bust you had to have at least one person other than your mother think that you were good.

Vitale understands skill at least.

Durant came on like a fireball the 2nd half of the season.
He was fantastic when he went to the hole. It opened up
his outside game.

Kudos to you on that one. I thought the
skinny kid would have to wait until he had muscles.

chuckles, well i think love will have collison like numbers, so will love be a bust ? i think collison is actually better then love

pgardn 06-26-2008 08:04 PM

Ok now the draft starts getting very strange.

You compare Collison and Love because they are white.
I would say Love is taller but not nearly as strong version of Wes Unseld with more offensive skills. I can think of better, but get off the White thing.

Randolph, how the hell does Randolph play in the NBA JC?

God Hibert. I would have taken him over the 2nd Lopez anyways.

i doubt it, and it has nothing to do with them being white, dam im white, and i played ball every year from 5th grade- graduation

on the court i am a mixture of d-wade and hakim warrick

Durant will be a monster when he has some players aound him and he can play his natural position as wing 3.

Green is a good player but i dont know if he will be more than a role player. i like Westbrook more than Love. A lot more upside. Guys like Westbrook are harder to find than big guys who rebound.

Then you would have never compared Love to Collison because they have completely diff. body types and play very diff. games.

Yeah i heard that you were the 2nd ranked 6th grader behind OJ Mayo.

Cannon Shell 06-26-2008 08:17 PM

Interesting trade. Bayless to Portland is interesting. I guess with TJ ford Indiana getting Rush and Jack gives them a decent backcourt.

Cannon Shell 06-26-2008 08:18 PM

Cavs getting a steal with Arthur.

What the heck would you do with Westbrook?
He may be the best athlete in the draft. But he is a tweener
because of lack of ball skills. I dont think you can just make
a guy into a PG. It is almost like taking a baseball pitcher and turning
him into a QB.
He is gonna have to be a two.

Wow. I thought they would grab Arthur.
