And if you factor in defense Tulowitzki moves up ever further. Here are their range factors last year:
Tulowitzki - 5.33 Rollins - 4.36 Ramirez - 4.09 Reyes - 4.05 Guillen - 3.88 Jeter - 3.80 He utterly dominates the others when it comes to defense. |

He is already better than any SS in the history of the Cubs with the exception of Ernie Banks (of course) and maybe Joe Tinker

I guess Bill Dahlen but that was before 1900. TT will be better than Joe Tinker too.

I can't believe that two half way intelligent people are getting this nuts over Troy Tulipulitz.
Lets take it easy until this year. He produces same numbers or exceeds, then you guys can get on his horse... |
Wow, he had a .987 fielding percentage with that range factor? That is absolutely sick. Ozzie Smith in 1982 is the only defensive season by a SS that even compares to what Tulowitzki did last year. And the kid is only 22.

Adding a player of Bonds' ability can never be a bad thing. The end.

This about locks it up. When a genius writer like Joel Sherman disagrees using rhetoric and supports Endy Chavez for the role you know you are right. |
They should have never got rid of Xavier Nady
