You might want to check out the replay of the 3's stretch run. Note how she changes back to LEFT lead around mid stretch. The headon shows that the 2nd horse came out into her, forcing her out and causing her to get thrown off stride and lose momentum. Solis had to then get her going again. She's at least 2nd with a clear run. A decent effort off a LONG layoff. She can only improve.

Race 10 8f Turf 40k Clm Ladies Again

If you survived this far the last is imposing as well with a full field

My first choice is off the AE which I am hoping draws in #13 Britney Heat who is lightly raced who is coming back to a turf mile where she has been successful 3X previously and looks like a nice fit here.

Oneill/Bejarano have the #9 TrickaCat who has won above this level and is second off a layoff where she has performed prior favorably

Michael Baze was very close with #2 Royal Pana the last time and with a very solid work pattern could seal the deal.

If the 13 doesn't draw in the #4 Roanaway Bride and #7 Formal Rush are playable

Good Luck DT's...

I don't like Trick's Pic at all and don't think the G3 she won was all that strong. The barn change and layoff of Kris' Sis has me thinking of passing on her. The only other one I even kind of like is Costume.

Would like to single B MAMBA,but it's difficult to leave Bejarano off.

If Court couldn't get pig mare to keep going, then I don't know if she can. It's asking a lot.I think one of Stevo's 5 here will take it.I wish I knew which one.

If take just one horse it would be the one who likes to TRICK.

#2 Royal Prana 6-1
#13 Britney Heat 7-2
#9 Trick a Cat 8-1
#5 Lake Marina 12-1
#6 Pindaric 8-1

Yeah,it's the distance that bothers me.Her last was good.Same for Bertha(maybe a lil better one-turning.)I need 1st place.

They scratched Classy Attraction, they must have known that Cedeno can't win two races in a day.

Damn, that pig was gunna stop no matter who rode it.The trainer won f'n 1 out of 54 last year.Wasn't gunna get home.

Yep.....Another strike for the smart players :)

SCUDSBROTHER 02-18-2008 12:35 PM

Hooves,Court up on Sweet Spot now.I want to know how you gunna get away from the Marina, because I have seen that crazy girl run off pretty good before on turf. You think Chantal can calm her? I think that girl would have a chance on turf if she calm her in the middle.I ain't kid'n.That 5 could be 7 lengths ahead going into the turn. She nut nut nutty.

SCUDSBROTHER 02-18-2008 12:55 PM

O.K.,I've decided the last race. That Marina horse is gunna insure the pace that Bejarano needs to explode with Trick a Cat.See,she doesn't really like the hill.If ya give her decent pace going a route she fires. The only time she lost in that scenario was when Victor dropped the whip. This guy is a waaay better jock than Espinoza.I am gunna single T A CAT.

looked at that scuds ..very interesting..5 may be a player .......its only a mile ..so im looking for a presser to keep going ....royal pranna has a tough go of it to me..5/10/13 all can go early and last.....

Rootdog1 02-18-2008 01:06 PM

I like trick a cat as well. It appears a stalker will inherit the win...

Quick question for all...why no love for Costume....think the 1mile will suit her very well, and will get a great stalking trip.

Bejarano must not be all that crazy about her...Right?

Rootdog1 02-18-2008 01:17 PM

Gomez aint shabby....also, Costume was gonna run in an Allow race that got rained out, so Raffy may have already committed to ride A Rose. Blck Momba and Costume are the standouts to me.

Together, they are 3 wins in 25 starts. I think Costume should of run better last time(if she is gunna win today.)I 'll make it MAMBA,ROSE,T PICK,COSTUME. In that order, but I just can't trust this lil bitch Tyler.

I think you can trust her today, Mamba was 2 lengths from Citronade and 1 length from both Precious Kitten and Nashoba's Key, all three of those horses beat this field by 5 lengths, at least.....

Watch what you say..luner eclipes tonight!

Plus, you have to think that a firster might get involved somewhere in there at the start.

TheSpyder 02-18-2008 02:04 PM

I have it 3, 7, 10 and really like the 3 at a price. If 10 - Delmarva is her old self should be potent.

Race 5 Turf Mile 62.5 Alw NW2 (ladies first)

#5 Siamese Cat Rock of Gibraltar turf monster (Hooves special)

Is this a single or do you have to throw in #11 Silver Moonshine whom Carla Gaines has firing fairly well.

Other thoughts in the 5th??
