Bejarano would rule that colony if he went out there, not sure why he hasn't

I agree, he sucks, but what did he do wrong? She stunk up the joint.

He wouldn't rule in the winter with Gomez and Ron Anderson there and frankly he does pretty well in KY and NY during the rest of the year.

Don't get me wrong, he would do fine, but I'm not sure he would do better ( or even as well ). He's got access to some very good horses and outfits where he is right now.

I agree, he is just solid wherever he goes IMO. I guess 'rule' was the wrong statement and should have used compete.

I don't know. I've been watching too much Australian racing and it just baffles me how that race was. Gate to wire with no pressure. I just don't understand why he didn't attempt to put heat on the leader on the backstretch.

You guys didn't hear? Bejarano and Leparoux are going west in a few weeks.

In that instance I don't think it would have mattered, but he did sure make it easy on her

He was right off the leader. She didn't ever seem comfortable and had nothing when he asked her. Maybe she's just not well suited for American racing....or maybe she just isn't much. However, she certainly should have given a better account for herself there.

Leparoux usually goes....doesn't he or did he split time with Turfway last season? I guess Bejarano figures the purses are much bigger in California....and the riders are much worse.

I agree that it wouldn't have mattered but that was ridiculous. In my opinion that isn't turf racing. I don't know what it is...but it isn't turf. Maybe concrete racing.

Yeah he was out there a few weekend last winter. Now that Biancone is on the bench the contract is null and void (I believe) and he's decided to go west.

This might be because Gulfstream is going to be weak this year.

I saw it as a classic prep race for the 2...

plus the 1 is a fast horse....full of run and wanted to play after the race.

I was hoping for the 7 or 5 to surprise. I consistently undervalue the performances a minor tracks... usually to my dismay

Go gett'em Scav

I/L

The purses always suck there. Unfortunately, Frank apparently cooked the golden goose for Christmas, so they aren't going to explode as hoped.
