Mine was Pleasant Home as well. I had every possible thing with her. I had the tri, exacta, 20 ATB, the pick 3 (on top, middle and bottom) and I had the pick 4. One of the most beautiful 3 hours of my life.

No Allegiance a couple of weeks ago at Belmont. I think it went off at 26-1. Spain at Churchill and Cat Thief in the Classic.

I think that Seek Gold should be remembered... good heavens, he was the LAST horse I would have looked at to win the Stephen Foster.

Ciskos' Kite at Pomona last summer 82=1 had em boxed...ran 1/2/4 and the dime super paid 32,300 bucks! Painfully...I kid you not

Well, mine has to be Last Tycoon in the 86 BCM...this was before the wagering pools were combined and he paid over $180 at Penn. I tried to talk my buddy into putting a few bucks on him but he laughed in my face...I swear he turned green when the horse crossed the finish line!

Still in therapy

OK, it was last year at Colonial and a 80-1 shot was catching the leader at the wire and he won...I swear he won....PHOTO sign goes up....waiting...waiting minutes seemed like hours and finally he's put up second.

NO WAY..I've got to see that photo...waiting...waiting...No Photo!

W'll I called, e-mailed and they finally e-mailed me the photo and it's REALLT hard to see who won as there was a third horse in the mix but even looking at it MY HORSE WON. And I got ZIP.. BIG BUMMER:mad:

Arcangues, nothing beats that. I only had a one dollar exacta. But hey, it still counts.

I also had "Broughshane" in an allowance race at Belmont Park the day before the Belmont Stakes in 2003. He was 20/1 and I had $60 to win on him. Not that huge of a hit but it felt kind of cool, he absolutely demolished the field.

He came back 2 1/2 months later to win again at Sartatoga at 7/1 and I had even more on him.

Broughshane!

The obvious ones I'll leave out.

Got Humoristic home last October at 29-1. Won for fun. Liked that one. A 10-1 winning gives me a good feeling. Doesn't have to be 40-1. Just a logical longshot. That's what the game is about. The best times are when the 40-1s are the most logical but that is rare.

Randall, you need to start your own thread for all the longshots you have scored with and given out on here! Geez, BC Day last year alone.

There was a 60-1 shot at Hollywood a few weeks ago. He was the 9. I had $25 to blow from a small exacta and was seriously contemplating putting it all on him to win. Because I didn't want my dad to ridicule me for blowing $25 on that big of a long shot, I keyed a different horse instead. As they were loading them in to the gate- I looked at the nine and just knew he was going to win- he was much bigger and more athletic than all the other horses. I tried to change my bet (I was at the OTB) but didn't make it in time. Right at the wire, the 9 horse beat out the horse that I keyed. He would've paid $1500 for a $25 win bet. I felt so sick. Now everytime I see a 9 horse I cry a little bit. . . Hitting Deputy Kris at Hollywood last saturday felt ok though. . .

Thunder Gulch's derby win. How did he ever go off higher than 20-1? My fave one that I won with.

One I always remember hearing about on TV and maybe Sent to Stud knows about this horse was a horse named Burnt Chicken. Went off at like 100-1 in a race I think was at Calder. I remember saying if I ever see a horse at 100-1 I would atleast put $2 to win on it. :D
