Yes... but I'm not sure why

MinnSkinny 02-11-2007 06:58 PM

No sir I did not, and that makes me ill. Actuallu played a 5/7 w 5/7 w 2-3-4-6 ticket as well, with no back up. 8 bucks cost about $1700. Some day I'll learn.

a little off topic, but the last race yesterday at Fair Grounds made me sick, just sick. I'm a newbie to horse racing, about 1 1/2 years now. I always look in the programs for a 5/1-8/1 morning line shot who is around 20 or higher, I ALWAYS bet like this. Doesn't always work, but have found some luck in it. I don't know how I miss it, but the 8 was 6/1 ML, goes off at 30-1 and wins the damn race. I was done after that, and I still have a sour taste in my mouth. Sorry, I had to get that out.

2 with 4-5-7 with 4-5-7, and 4-5-7 with 2 with 4-5-7. Hell yeah.

MinnSkinny 02-11-2007 07:10 PM

And just realized I overlooked the Pik 3, rats!

We all kick ourselves when we miss something that has worked for us in the past... I missed a play earlier that has worked well for me at Golden Gate... Mason/Rodriguez have been on fire on longshots recently and I passed on them all week and it cost me a couple pick 3/4's... oh well, that's the game :o

7/ 4+9+10 Tri in the 5th

smuthg 02-11-2007 07:45 PM

Race 5-

Ex Box- 1/2/9

Ex 1 over 2/9

Tri 1 with 2/6/9 with 2/6/7/9

DerbyCat 02-11-2007 07:46 PM

I like the 7 & 9 in the 5th but there's no value there... guess I'll put them with the 8 for a tri box and hope it works...

MinnSkinny 02-11-2007 07:46 PM

1 dollar trifecta, 2 with 1-6-8 and 1-6-8 with 2 with 1-6-8.

Note to self: when you are unsure, do a Ex box instead of the tri box...
