Only thing appealing is Dominguez is up.

Funny Mike Smith doesnt ride My Kinda Town. If my memory serves right, he won on this horse earlier in 2006. I dont have the PPs, I only remember this because one of my good friends made a huge bet on him that day.

Rogue Agent may do better than you think Scuds. Dont sell too short. On his best day, he can wire these.

SCUDSBROTHER 01-03-2007 07:09 PM

Play that stop machine only if it is storming heavily.

hoovesupsideyourhead 01-03-2007 07:14 PM

rogue agent tribute thread wtf

:D i just thought we needed one more to celebrate this huge starter allw horse..:D

SCUDSBROTHER 01-03-2007 07:15 PM

Gander,it used to be that Wild Jam and Melodeeman liked that intertube track.THEY GOT CHANCES ?I am not up on there form, but will download a form if they have a shot.

Gander 01-03-2007 07:17 PM

I didnt even know they were running on Friday. I dont have a form until tomorrow morning, but I'd say yes, both have chances.

SCUDSBROTHER 01-03-2007 07:18 PM

Thursday they are running.

Gander 01-03-2007 07:24 PM

Okay, looking at the entries. I like Freedom isnt Free in the 7th. Since when does Contessa train Melodeeman? I wont bet him.

8th is wide open, I need to see a form. Kazoo is not a good bet at low odds. These arent exactly gerbils. Wild Jam probably has a great shot.

Out of the two horses you asked about I would give Wild Jam the better chance to win.

Gander 01-03-2007 07:27 PM

He could be sitting on a huge year. Nice to see him back. The game needs more horses like him.

He's just not getting enough attention.

Gander 01-03-2007 07:38 PM

I forgot, this board is much more into talking about horses who run 4 times a year for 2 years then retire. Whatever was I thinking about a horse who actually sticks around in training.

hoovesupsideyourhead 01-03-2007 08:12 PM

no i think this board is into talking about many types of horses..and in the end you will find this one horse is a loser on thursday.and lots of other horses are worth talking about..not just one average horse..

that's not really fair matt considering you are the one who started this thread to mock another person's excitement about a horse...who cares what the horse has done or will do?...if Tim likes him and thinks he is worth talking about why shouldn't he post about him?...

That's not entirely fair either even though i can understand why you might feel that way sometimes...but in the future try to only start one thread about a horse...you can always find it and bump it up later on...
and of course the horses that run in the big races (and retire earlier) will generate more discussion because they are usually known on a national scale...the hard knocking runners are, more often than not only know regionally at best.

FYI **I combined all three threads on Rogue Agent**

hoovesupsideyourhead 01-03-2007 08:59 PM

i dont start three threads about it..lol dont make me sick cooper on mrs p .

Gander 01-04-2007 07:53 AM

In the future, I will clear it with the guys who run the board to see if a horse I want to post about is worthy of it. God knows we had a zillion posts about My Golden Song and Hesanoldsalt last year. Let it be known those horses arent very good, and thats saying it nicely.

Merasq, Ryan is Flying is the class? You are kidding I hope? He is a better turf horse and only won on the dirt last time because he was able to get to the lead on one of those days where speed & being on the rail was the golden ticket. He wont see the lead in here, even with the presence of CC Lopez.

sumitas 01-04-2007 05:29 PM

Ya gotta look at Melodeeman any time he runs on the inner. Hesanoldsalt has done well the last 6 months and he could still be improviing. His brother Mongoose won the Donn.
