Little Mike and Get Stormy cancel each other out but I have seen Little Mike scratch out a few times. Sign me up for TuraLure and a bit of doubles Partner and Brilliant Speed

Cool. I had it on my cell, when I went to full web view it came right up. Good read Doug. Good luck this weekend.

Good stuff, Doug. Thanks. Love the dig at Indian Charlie too.:D

Thanks. I snuck one in on Lukas as well 'Optimizer is trained by the Minimizer' ... if only PG '85 had a five-star lock!

Good luck. Do they put your daily PID picks on the website? I have looked a couple times and have not found them.

Sassy Image 5-2ML? Off a 8+ month layoff?

My question is how far do i pitch Bodemeister. He certainly wont be in the top two slots and im leaning towards a total toss but will feel like an idiot if he hangs on for a piece. I'll throw him in a few dollar tri's but will not include when im going heavy in keying my horse, i dont think.

I agree, I said the same thing about Hansen today.

I know nobody has mentioned weather yet, but it is supposed to be in the 90-ish range on Saturday. Nothing to add here except for the last six times the Derby was run on a day with a high temperature of 80 degrees or higher, a horse running 10th or worse after the first half ended up winning the race. Those years would be 2005 (Giacomo), 2001 (Monarchos), 2000 (Fusaichi Pegasus), 1996 (Grindstone), 1992 (Lil E. Tee), and 1991 (Strike the Gold). My trend ends there though as Winning Colors went wire-to-wire on a warm day in 1988 and Sunny's Halo was never more than a half length off the lead in 1983.

He can win. I see him sitting 5th or 6th and if Bode does not fire Hansen will be taking the lead at the top of the stretch.....with TCI rolling late.

Occasionally they will, but most often not.

They always put them in the Sports Section next to the Major League Baseball betting lines and they have one company sponcer the picks and another company sponcer the results.

High school football is covered like you wouldn't believe here. Horse racing is left competing with popular stuff here like college wrestling and hunting and fishing for newspaper space.

Erie has had one thoroughbred racetrack fail in the 1910's, another failed in the 1930's, Commedore Downs failed in the early 80's and Erie Downs failed in the mid 1980's. Presque Isle Downs is thoroughbred track attempt #5 here.

I just pray there is not another Aikenite on the card to spoil all my pick 3 and 4 tickets this year.....
