so why do you always remind us that Bush "vacationed" at a ranch in texas? i just find it hypocritcal.

And when they are working they even take group photos where they all look at a television with a dropped satellite feed.

Because the truth is secondary to a good photo op.

For all we know they could of been watching...

I am trying to point out the hypocrisy of those that bash Obama, but didn't bash Bush for being the President who vacationed more than any other (and don't even know that our Congress is hardly in session any more)

:tro: for Coach's picture.

Is it about 3000 like 9/11? Does it matter where the deaths happen and how? Are the flyover states forgettable and can be handled with a photo op days later?

But man it's just pure hate of the guy. It's racism. It can't be people are fed up with these fake motherf.uckers.

Coach, I don't think this one is totally on Obama. I do blame the media and the huge role that they play in everything. Look at the coverage and relief efforts for New Orleans. Now compare that to what seems like the lack of coverage relief efforts for the floods/tornados crippling the South now. Not saying that New Orleans wasn't a horrible situation, but don't forget those people had warning and could have gotten out.

Here is a video (that might have been posted here) of the floods in Tennesee last year. Where was the coverage/relief efforts and benefit concerts for these poor people?

O'Bama seemed to be geniunely enjoying his stay in Ireland. He actually seemed a bit tipsy when he was giving his speech, but I'm sure half the people in the crowd were drunk by then.

Ireland is really wonderful. If anyone who is not a recovering alcoholic has a chance to visit there... go for it. Those 4 months were some of the best in my life.

Absolutely...it's necessary to travel, called diplomacy and every President does it. Being President of the United States is the most demanding job there is and I'll never be critical of our President for taking a little "down time"...there are huge difference in opinion between Obama's supporters and Republicans, one would think there is plenty to rail against other than petty crap like this!

Coach Pants 05-24-2011 12:38 PM

Now that he's President it's become apparent to me that he is one of the most aloof people on the planet. He doesn't show much emotion when the teleprompter is off.

He's a true narcissist.

oh my gosh that is funny.

the only difference is that you think you are better than the others.

really, when it comes down to it, there are no differences. the dems were equally as bad about railing against petty crap when Dubya was president.

I always find this line funny. Where are dirt poor families with no money and no transportation supposed to go?

Joey, I was always under the impression that the government provided transportation for people to get out.

Katrina is a little different than a tornado. Just a little. Lets see how FEMA reacts to the next earthquake and/or massive hurricane.

I fully understand that, but my point is about the way the media covers things and the perception that the public gets from the coverage. Just like the video I posted.

I agree...I never criticized Bush for vacations, his perceived poor college grades or any other trivial crap, when I opposed him it was his politics. As I've said many times, I'm not a big fan of Obama's politics either but the "Obama hate" present on this board and throughout our society today is malignant. Speaking out against his policies is one thing, the constant conspiracy theories and personal attacks is another....and this "I think I'm better" crap is a cop out, I'm expressing my views exactly the same as others...

His inner circle spent $2 million on the birth certificate. He deserves nothing but skepticism.

By the way...welcome back Coach, just not the same without you...seriously!

Riot 05-24-2011 02:19 PM

That Obama "Spent 2 million covering up the birth certificate" is a long-disprove lie - check out Snopes or Politifact.

That figure is simply the total amount of all legal fees for the couple years duration of the campaign. Pretty typical of all candidates.

dellinger63 05-24-2011 08:42 PM

Bush didn't give the citizens of Crawford a fat check like Obama always does when traveling and Bush saved money on hotel, room service, etc etc by visiting HIS home. That he pays taxes on. Obama sponges off of donors and pays em off for use of their homes via company check. Us and in U.S. taxpayers. Huge difference once again.
