This is the strangest thread yet! :D

P.S. Guess you could have figured it out, but I am loud and most of the time shouting "GO BABY GO"

Buffy,
It's all about the ridin'! Sometimes the back is just bouncing up and down, the heels are dug in, hands clutched tight.
Hey! The worst thing that could happen is falling off. That just gives you a reason to get up again. Ride it hard.
"GO BABY GO!"

Buffy,
I'm happy you got back on and hope you had a good ride.
If your back hurts you might consider a different "seat".
Just give 'em a little slap in the butt if you want to hurry up.
Don't forget to give him a carrot afterwards to let him know how much you appreciated it.

Madame Buffy,
Now that could be interesting.
Do you ride in black fishnet stockings or thigh high boots?

Okay now that a few have answered (and someone I wanted to didn't, as usual:p ) let's move on.....

What kind of behavior irritates you at the track / OTB?

You know what i really hate? Going up to the window and having one of those people in front of me who doesn't have a clue and starts to chit chat like some of us have all ******* day!

What's even worse though are the guys (sexist, i know, but it's always the old guys) who yell for the jockey the whole time (JONNNNEEEE, C'MON JONNNNEEEE), call the poor horse by their number (should be illegal. "C'mon TWO! C'mon TWO." Oh shut the hell up. He has a name, you imbecile.) , praise the jock when they win and call the horse a nag, etc., if they lose. Want to smack those types!

(Guess we shouldn't mention that we often do the voices of the horses during the races, huh Happy T and Gallant? I wonder if that bothers anyone...).

What irritates you?

I'm usually so spent with all the preliminaries (you know, the handicapping and such) the race itself is like icing on the cake...but the cake.......uhmmmmm, delicious.BTW, love a cigarettte after a race.
Oh and yes, I usually yell the jockey's name (I figure he can understand what I'm saying).

i can take
ppl who yell
the names and
call them by
numbers,
but i hate
the bachelor party
types who come
to the track
to drink and
scream thru
every race.
