At what cost? Where is the $$ coming from, China? If it was that great of an idea, the airline companies would be footing the bill. There just aren't enough passengers to justify this. What purpose would a high speed rail from Cheyenne to Mexico serve, that just seems silly. There is nobody along that line except here in Denver and I-25 (the proposed route) is as high speed as a highway gets. I guess since the lines are there it isn't a big deal to put another train on the tracks but nobody will be on it. Bring back the Ski Train!!
