And good ol Vic Stauffer comes to Grunder's defense on Blinker's Off on TVG and trashes Beyer. Nice Vic. Once again we see that Stauffer doesn't know when to keep his big mouth shut. Taking personal shots at Beyer was probably the wrong way to go about it. Nice job Vic. Your career at TVG will be shorter than your stint as Tyler Baze's agent.

I DVR'd it .... among other things, Vic accused Beyer of "getting the Horse of the Year vote wrong" ....
Ok, here's a post Vic made here after the BC Classic ...

The award is for horse of the year. This year. Blame will have finished this year 4 for 5 and won the BC Classic. Zenyatta will have finished the year 5 for 6 and finished second in the BC Classic. It's one of the wierdest statistical oddities I've ever seen that she won't ever win horse of the year but unfortunately that's the way it's going to shake out. Imagine you owned Blame. How would you feel if you beat one of the all time greats and they gave HOY to the horse you just beat. That would be totally unfair.

Besides accusing Beyer of getting a vote wrong for which he was of the same exact opinion ... Vic said "Beyer should stick to playing 10cents Supers that cost $480 and losing" Basically, Vic kicked his own ass with the Horse of the Year remark ... and kicked his own ass again by basically doing the same thing he accused Beyer of doing with his $480 10-cent Super remark.
Vic was in fine form throughout the first 15 minutes of the show - he claimed to have never heard of Trappe Shot (2nd place finisher at about 5/2 odds in the Haskell) or Succesful Dan (DQ'd from a win over Giant Oak in the Clark)
My TV cried tears whenever Watchmaker's tranny mug was on... but after 15 minutes - I was already starting to get nostalgic for him.
