If anything O said is true, then I'd like to welcome him to the Tea Party. Too bad not much of it was.

People that want the best edumacation for their kids would have it and the ones just looking for a free meal will still be looking for a free meal after they got out of school. Our superintendent of screwls gets paid $257k a freaking year and we have the lowest graduation rate in the state. Value teachers like we value corrupt politicians. Eh just ship them to North Korea There is a young couple that lives in our building She is a republican because she works at a hospital and sees what this so called reform is going to do to our healthcare. He is a democrat becasue he works for the school district and sees what corruption can do for him. |
Obama scored from 80 to 90% public approval of State of the Union speech. All those independents? They are right with him.
Obama reset "center right" with that speech, back to what it used to be before the GOP went off the rails to the far, far right over the past 5-8 years. Nearly everything in that speech was a Republican talking point. The far, far right has been dragging the center off into the woods, but Obama just put it back. If a valid (meaning not crazy) GOP candidate appears (that would be Mitt Romney) and just abandons the crazy far right Tea Baggers, he could give Obama a run (although it's hard to see how Obama could lose the next election, his personal approval remains so high - perhaps if unemployment is still high) |
