Like Pants said, he's a paper tiger. His MVPs need to start having asterisks until he wins something worth a sh it.

This is crap...I dont even want to aruge with you guys about it, because I like the Celtics and I love Wade, but this is GARBAGE.
Lebron, is likely to win the next 5 MVPS... On talent alone he might be the best player ever, and we are going to sit here and hate on him? You would not take Lebron for Paul or Ray?

He can win a zillion MVPs, if he doesn't start winning titles he'll be the biggest disappointment in sports history, that's just how it is. Think about Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, Dan Marino, all the guys that were great but never won the big one. Now add them all up and you'll get LeBron's legacy if he doesn't start winning when it counts. Luckily for him he's only 25, but no one remembers MVPs, they remember championships. Can you say off the top of your head how many MVPs Jordan has? I can't, but I can sure as hell tell you he has six titles without thinking.

O boy... I agree about Wade, he is that good. I think Lebron is more talented though and Wade has had serious injuries and Lebron has not...

If Lebron went back to Clevland, why worry about it? No way they get enough parts to make that team competitive with anything Miami fills the roster in with.

Cleveland can make a few moves during the season and they can definitely shop Jamison after this year.

Odds are he goes back.

Being from Cleveland, we've always found ourselves being screwed in the most bizare way in the sporting world. I say he announces his retirement. He's done enough.

I agree about the Title thing, thats why I say **** the loyalty and go to NY or Miami. I totally agree he needs to win multiple titles to validate his talent.

When does LeBron's responsibility for the failures of the Cavs kick in? If he leaves, he's just quitting on the Cavs again, so the fans should be used to it.

OOOOOOOOOO

Maybe Im wrong, and like I have said before Im wrong a lot...
At this point I think its under 5% he returns to Clevland.

The point of the argument was not this though... It was that I dont think he needs to be loyal, especially with the moves other teams are making, I think he should go because he has done EVERYTHING FOR CLEVLAND. Go to Miami, win the next 5.

He's done nothing for Cleveland except give them severe blue balls, which I'm pretty sure they've already had enough of. His job was to bring Cleveland a championship and he hasn't even come close to doing that. He's taking the coward's way out if he leaves.

I thought you died?

clyde 07-08-2010 06:02 PM

You failed to keep up. I reanimated as everyone knows. It was right there in black and white.

Coach then died and will update tonight at 9 if he is still dead.

Are you still frozen?

Really...don't answer.

Coach Pants 07-08-2010 06:03 PM

I wish I was frozen... Its like 100 here and the central air blew, guy was supposed to be here today, and cancelled till tomorrow.

clyde 07-08-2010 06:24 PM

Oh well.

You are staying surprisingly even tempered, considering.

Franny gets unconscionably cranky in heat.

I think I'm buying too much into this unnecessary production going on tonight. But it really isn't needed especially if he was going back to Cleveland. Don't see it happening and that's why this conference is not in Ohio somewhere.

If the Nets were going into Brooklyn this season, I think they would have had a big chance. But Lebron in Newark for a couple of seasons (at the least) I just don't see it.

The reports are saying Miami and a team that clearly belongs to D Wade. I just don't see Lebron playing second fiddle at this point of his career. You would think that Lebron wants to be the straw that stirs the drink. Not the guy who helped D. Wade get rings number 2,3 and so on.

Brings it down to 2 teams, Chicago who clearly has the better cast and New York. While I used to love the Knicks before Isiah and Dolan turned the organization into a laughing stock and would love to see Lebron play there, I really can't come up with a good reasons (on the court) why he should come to N.Y.. But the city would certainly embrace the King. If he's thinking about other things besides basketball then the city that doesn't sleep might be his playground.

The Bulls on the other hand already have a supporting cast that could win sooner than later with him being the star attraction. He already gave up #23 and now he could follow in his idol's footsteps and try to match some of the records and championships that MJ established. The cons are he's not MJ and he would be going into his beloved Cleveland as a villian many more time being in the same division.

Bottom line is my heart says NY, but if I had to bet I would take Chicago.

Now that I have mushed those 2 teams, he will probably end up back in Cleveland.

Please dart me.

clyde 07-08-2010 07:32 PM

With Stevie...it's not that easy...believe me.
