Winslow Homer is really good, and would be 6th on my list. Stately Victor was my biggest win bet of the entire Saratoga meet second time out on turf, he has disapointed big time after that.

I like Winslow a lot too, the only problem is he's owned by Porter so he will be vastly overrated and Unbridleds Song colts seem to be bad luck with him. It won't be long until the internet is flooded with Go Homer Go chants.

Walking the Beach looks interesting and I'd like to see Carrington Village run again.

I think Buddy's Saint could be better than his last race - although they are doing the two prep route with him to get to the Derby.

Super Saver was excellent at Churchill and William's Kitten was a longshot I used in the BC Juvenile that didn't work out well for me, but his last race was OK I suppose. Aikenite is a useful horse.

Carrington Village has some issues. You won't be seeing him in the Derby.

Who is this horse? Sire, trainer?

An El Corredor trained by McPeek - he broke his maiden on Churchill's closing day card. Probably won't be a superstar, but it was a pretty cool effort by him and it is worth watching the replay.

Thanks.

Pioneer of the Nile

- Jon White's going to pull some strings, get him back in training and push for an exemption that allows him to run again this year against 3-yos, sighting the unexpected miracle of Mine that bird being the only thing from him being a Triple Crown Champion.

its the same now every year.....remember old fashioned the super horse??? the year before it was pyro. even i got sucked into that one. don't even bother trying. there is no two year old season. horses will start for the first time as 3 yo's and turn out to be better than what we have seen. its happening more and more every year. they just don't run em like they used to! starting to look now is a waste. way too early to even think about.

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean by that.

Right! Let's wait one more day. Then we'll watch the race that produced Pioneer of the Nile and I Want Revenge.

SOREHOOF 12-19-2009 06:30 PM
