Of course I can't keep that kind of pace up for any extended period of time ... if I could I would be a billionaire soon enough.

The format forces you to find prices ... and 16 races is a very tiny sample size. I just wish there were contests where you have to bet 1,600 races instead of 8. That's the only gripe I have.

Hah. That's a laugh.

I'm sure you are a great handicapper, I'm just saying why only post when you do good, I think the Spa handicapping contest is a good test of one's skill, I wish you had played, infact I wish all the better cappers on here would have played. My only gripe is I wish it would have been expanded to 2 picks a day to allow more picks and a better average sample.

Well ... you talked me into it.

I will give a full update on how I do in the 3rd and final one ... be it a 0-for-8 performance or another tough beat gem.

I was able to nail an $82 winner ... but even hitting a 40/1 shot wasn't good enough.

54th out of 2,008 in the 3rd and final one.

I was hoping that I could get in a position to win the contest with Gitano Hernando ... but had I used him and he won it wouldn't have put me in the top 3. You have to do way better than 25% winners with a 40/1 and 17/1 winner to win this nonsense.
