I'm very superstitious and don't bet much at once. I'd rather lose 2 bucks on a mistake or a bet I think is going to go south than cancel it and sit and watch it win. I've cancelled some based on the post parade or late info with no regrets, but, other than that, I go down with my ship.:o

I couldn't agree more.....occasionally you'll inadvertently punch a wrong number on a key board or see a horse break through a gate that obviously warrants a scratch that doesn't come.....should you suck it up and spinkle the pool with your money or use the opportunity to wager these monies in the future.....How many ADW players you think would have canceled Barbaro in the Preakness after the breaking through the gate realizing that likely any other race he's an automatic scratch?

There are moments a serious player knows the karma isn't good and he/she should hold onto their money than contribute it to the pools IMO.

Going back out again to look at more meteors...but that's who I am. I wouldn't trade my Barbaro Preakness ticket for ANYTHING. And of course I knew he wouldn't WIN after breaking through the gate.:( :( :(
