Bejarano took that real hard, too.

I'd trade Bejarano for Mena, wouldn't you?

Mena has been through enough already. If the original story was ever made public, there would be no hole deep enough for Mena to crawl into to get away from the humiliation and the comments about his intelligence. Lets just hope he has finally learned his lesson.

Mena has a long list of indiscretions but this one takes the cake. I had warned people prior to meet that Mena was the #1 choice as first jock to get in trouble at meet and was worried that he could bring down his party buddy Alan Garcia with him. But luckily Garcia has been behaving and has been seen in town with at least one responsible person and not with Mena. This was a very expensive lesson for Mena, now lets see if he finally learned it or not. BTW, his agent Steve Elzey takes no crap. Was Garcia hanging around with Freddymo?

These are jockeys, no one thinks they are intelligent....they just think they are...ask Bailey

I don't know about Freddy, but I did see doing kissy face with some (seemed to be decent looking) blonde in the backyard of the jocks room in Saratoga.

You would think that he's eventually going to learn the hard way that this isn't Turfway and that the Jockey colony is pretty damn deep up there. I thought as an agent you were supposed to protect your clients, not embarrass them publically while potentially hurting his buisness.

Exactly. But if there were cougars involved I'd like to know.

Coach Pants 08-04-2009 11:41 PM

Mena needs to sober up and fire that ass clown for releasing a personal matter to the media. What a dick move.

What did he bring with him?

Didn't Beckner used to ride at Mountaineer on a regulary basis?

I think he did before Presque Isle opened for business.

The Indomitable DrugS 08-06-2009 01:22 PM

He never rode a single race at Mountaineer before Presque Isle opened.

Don't get me wrong - he belongs at Mountaineer - but he certainly never rode there.

He rode at Philly and Monmouth regularly before PID.

I am thinking the same thing....I love him tomorrow but Albarado puts the fear of God into me on horses like this one because there is no doubt that he is going to be 5w into that final turn.

If Garcia or Desormeaux was on him, all in.....

Red Rally is a bit interesting also, he has a half sister that is out in California named Carmel Coffee, a horse that I have followed because she is also a LA bred that would simply make a killing in Louisana if someone could pony up and buy her, when she hit the turf she was also a monster but she couldn't last over 8f. I know absolutely zero about Reformed Rally, except for his horses are purely turf horses from the numbers

MisterB 09-04-2009 07:27 AM

At least he hasn't killed anyone yet. Yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dumb ass kids
