I can't believe they're not showing the race on HRTV to show this interview with some old guy I've never heard of. This is painful.

Unofficial 4-5-1 is the winning ticket. 23/1 shot Me the Sea and G T.

Carryover! No winners... tanner12oz the closest in terms of includes.

We'll try it again tomorrow! Good turnout... Sorry I've been remiss on the Contest front through Triple Crown..

I don't know if it is proper to air this here, however I noticed a large mistake in the entries off of Woodbine's website and it involves the winner of the Race of the Day.

On the changes page prior to tonight's race Woodbine incorrectly published a Jockey change of the subsequent winner. It listed Steven Bahen as the rider of Me the Sea and G T and not Tyler Pizarro.

Bahen has a win % of 6, while Pizarro is winning at 15% going into tonight's card.

This information has since been corrected and I did take the time to email the administration at Woodbine, suffice it to say I was not satisfied with their answer. As horseplayer's know 100% accuracy of information is vital to playing this game and while I probably wouldn't have played Me the Sea and G even with Pizarro riding, it may have ultimately changed the dynamics of my handicapping the race. Is the track liable for giving out false information even if it was simply human error?

Liable as in paying damages to horse players who would have won money if the correct information was displayed as it truly happened.....??

That would be a resounding NO........but nice idea.

I just want to clarify what happened yesterday, at approximately 6PM, like most handicappers they go check the changes on the day's card, the rail position, track and turf conditions....

I skip to the feature race and notice the listed change, Steven Bahen is now riding Me the Sea and G, okay I think Tyler is off his mounts for the day, I then check the entries and on their website it clearly lists Steven Bahen is the rider also.

Skip to the 1st race and I then notice Tyler is riding a horse in that race. Now I am really curious why he isn't riding in the feature race since he is quite frankly a much better rider than Bahen is.

Now I am not saying I would have considered Me the Sea and G but I did completely dismiss this horse to my own fault because I drew a conclusion the rider opted off of the horse sometime during the day, perhaps not liking his chances, the worst thing the errors caused were the payouts, only people watching live or who were not aware of the incorrect information would have knew Tyler was still on the horse, in essence the horse probably would have been much lower in odds had Tyler been listed as the rider and no rider change was issued.
